      "Your order will be shipped a bit later today and delivery should be with you in approx 1 week with UPS.

      I will forward you a tracking number as soon as one becomes available."

    How long do you reckon the glasses will last for & are they originals?

    I bought a pair from an online O/Seas store (not this one) & paid the same moneys $$ & the frames broke within 3 weeks of use due to an inferior resin polymer used in manufacturing.

      From my previous dealings with this company they were reputable and the Raybans I bought were definately genuine (they are authorised dealers). So I can only judge by my experience….otherwise I wouldn't have posted the deal.

    Order 3 sunglasses with them last night using this code and now they telling me they are all out of stock and since they were sale items, they won't be stocked anymore when clearly the items were being removed periodically which suggests ecom system was checking the real time stocks.

    I guess the deal was too good to be true hence the 'Out of Stock' excuse.

    Not going to deal with them again as a principle.

    As the OP I apologise to those whose orders were not fulfilled. It's clearly not going to do their reputation any good. I also got the email telling me my item was out of stock. My previous experiences with them have been good which was why I listed.
    I have sent them an email asking what's going on, particularly as the site allowed the purchase of the items and did not reflect they were out of stock.

      thanks for the effort of posting..i think they've decided to pull the deal on all the high end glasses. I'm going to keep an eye on stock and I bet for sure the ones I ordered will be back on the site soon. :)

        Davestan, how did you hear about this offer?

        My feeling is they naively underestimated the reach of social media when a deal is put on the table and have taken a huge hit. Best way out in their eyes was to blame their Ecom systems.
        Is it merely a coincidence their systems failed them today, when I presume they ordinarily work fine?

        I wrote to them at the time of order asking for a delivery estimate. Mary Wheeler, their Customer Service Manager responded, saying my order would be shipped later that day. A few hours later she wrote back saying they were out of stock.

        Poop
        I ordered two pairs. Each were at opposite ends of the pricing scale, so the failure to make good is not limited to top end products.

        I have requested they offer a similar product for an equivalent price.

          Got the offer via email as a previous customer I subscribe. Nothing about it being a targeted offer (just for me). I hope they do come good with a fair option for those who ordered(also hope that there were people who will get their sunnies). This could have been a very positive experience for that companys exposure. But now…

    Hey Guys my order was also in the same because of stock issues. I had emailed them and also called them and they just called me back because of the time difference in the UK. I had also found two similar pairs of sunglasses which cost a little bit more and they were happy to send me the new pairs I have found without charging me any extra.

    The lady that called was very sorry for the trouble it had caused and she said they did not expect the sale to become so popular.

    I am personally happy with the final outcome a lot of places that I have bought things like this from and they have been ozbargained I have been left with no product and a refund.

    I have also purchased glasses from them in the past and they are definitely real sunglasses not copies.

    Hope that helps some of you.

    2 out of 4 sunglasses I ordered were still available, albeit at a different price if I said I was a UK customer on their website. Not happy and I told them. We shall see I suppose.
