    well, the blaupunkt 29" is selling for 245 and 249 (as searched on http://www.myshopping.com.au/PR--460983_Blaupunkt_BP2914HD_2…)

    given this is a reasonably lower price, i don't think we should neg it because some other brand is selling for lesser. maybe it's not a great deal but let's encourage others to post.

    This tv in this deal isn't a soniq, not sure why you are comparing apples with oranges.

      The soniq is a larger screen 32" vs 29" and most likely better quality going on previous blaupunkt products.

    Maybe when Australian TV is broadcast all in HD. I'd really like to know what's happening with FTA TV in Australia…all these promises of HD this and that. The number of HD channels is now lower than when digital TV started, and there are channels dedicated solely to advertising! Not the TV revolution I was hoping for :p Is no wonder we're a land of TV/movie thieves, haha!
