    I have hosting with these guys for the past year, great service and response time! Haven't had any down time yet, so they'r reliable.

    However, I 've been trying to pay for another site about 20 minutes now, but once redirected after confirming PayPal transaction - it errors. Weird. I give up.

    Been with 9webs for the last 4 months. Their customer service is the best I have come across in a long time.
    And even when not on special, their pricing is still great, considering they are Aussie based and any issues are promptly taken care of.

      As mentioned by the rep in the description, you needed to select the 12month payment (for $24) then the code will work, bringing it down to $12 for the year. Can't do month by month with the discount.

      I think what you are looking for is Addon Domains and this option is listed as included in the plans

      An addon domain allows visitors to reach a subdomain of your site by typing the addon domain's URL into a browser. This means that you can host additional domains from your account, if allowed by your hosting provider. Addon Domains Subdomains are relative to your account's home directory.

      I believe it can be hosted if you don't require SSL certificate (e.g. you outsource checkout to PayPal and don't have customers login or giving you their personal info). The catch with this deal I think is that you have to pay above market for SSL and dedicated IP ($50+ vs $15 elsewhere).

    first i pointed the nameservers from my domain host, tried accessing cpanel and got blocked by their firewall, msged 9web support and it was unblocked, few hours later i get blocked by their firewall again, am I doing something wrong?

    anyone else have this problem? was using justhost.com.au as my previous host and never got blocked this way :(

    what's even more bizarro if I tried accessing just my url my IP gets added to the firewall blocking list immediately, I tried with my 3G phone and it did the same again! so it seems anyone accessing my url now will get blocked D:

    is there something I must do to prevent this?

    and how do I get my cpanel username and password? anyone help me :(

    my website has been down for half a day now :(

    I am up and running no issues with firewalls etc. what I can't figure out is I have installed wordpress but when I go to my site I get the index screen thank need to click the wp folder.

    How can I get it straight to wordpress blog page?

      You can either install it to root (see option that says 'In directory here: http://i.imgur.com/AXznypd.png), by getting rid of the wp in the box.
      Or change your site address in Wordpress Settings -> General.

    Looks like the rep is a bit flooded so I thought I might ask here - I've signed up but my account login credentials don't seem to work to log into cpanel/ftp. Is the username different from your email? If so, is it some sort of logical combination of name/last name etc?

      Your cPanel password will be displayed at the top (in plain text S: ) and can be changed.

    How long does it take to have the account activated?

    Besides, just a small suggestion
    I received the welcome email together with my password
    as email are send in plain text
    I do recommend your company not to send password in email
    this cause security risk
    (especially when many people using same password across different web services these days)

    If someone forgot their password
    there should be a temporary password generated and allow user to reset instead
