How much for the Asus…. if similar priced then get the Asus definitely, without any hesitation. I have seen to many people getting Acer laptops repaired, and if their tablets are the same, then you know what this tablet will do…
I repair laptops and more often than not the ones that need repair have succumbed to abuse, if you take care of your stuff then generally you will be fine. I also don't see any more Acer laptops than any other brand
The Asus F450JF is a laptop! I thought it was a tablet. That Asus laptop has a low res screen of 1366 x 768 and was around $948 at JB HiFi.. now about $1099 at MSY?

this tablet is surprisingly well build, i bought 3 for work and they are on 24/7 and they are still going strong. but for a tablet this is one is quite heavy though because of the metal casing
Anyone know how good the WiFi is on this device. I sold my W510 because the WiFi signal was total shit house compared to Android phone & old desktop with just a USB wireless device.
My wife has a w510 which had atrocious wifi out of the box, but an update must have fixed it because I did nothing and it hasn't skipped a beat in 9 months or so. Actually the W510 is an example of a very well built tablet with dock. The only issue I have with it is no multi touch touch pad on the keyboard, but wife doesn't use two fingers scroll so do anything care. Also you end up using the the touch screen alot more than you would think

Yeah but it's not the official W700 keyboard that doubles as cover. This one here. Can't seem to find many place selling it, as it's mostly sold together with the tablet.
yeah was just talking to my son about that - he has a Surface with a cool keyboard that attaches (official MS one). I thought it would be better than that Laser one on offer. The Acer one looks better but yer dearer. Pity it doesn't come with it. I am still deciding :P
The acer keyboard from memory is 79$ at the stand in Bonding Junction Westfield. You can bet it's a special order there though, I wait for weeks for the one for the w510

I bought one and it arrived today - it did come with the keyboard in the box. I didn't think it did so I bought that Laser Keyboard >.< at the same time. I can use that with my ipad ;)
There is a stylus in the box too - didn't know it would come with that ;)
