Ron Bennett Big Mens are one of the only Australian retailers who offer a wide range of PLUS sized clothing for men. I wouldn't say their non-sale prices are cheap, but you don't exactly have a lot of choices when you are 5XL+…

Being a big boy myself I appreciate their range and the quality of the clothes. They also have awesome specials from time to time.

Unfortunately I am getting so big that even 6XL just ain't big enough anymore…

Anyway typically stuff sold at Ron Bennett Big Mens has a generous cut and is designed from the start to cater for the larger man…

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I am no fan of the polos on sale here I must say…

If you are really big and are going to wear a striped polo, you want vertical stripes for a start….

The business shirts are very good.

  • Hey GWH - If you are having trouble getting in a 6XL, would you mind saying about what your weight is. Not judging. My dad was "big". Just curious.

Shirt sizes follow no rules anymore…

I buy a shirt from Kingsize Dandenong, and it's 3XL
I buy the same 'fitting' shirt from BigW it's a 5xl, and Target is a 6xl., then they cn go up or down. Size, and even the length varies..

      • Ah…. So the same crap women have to put up with.

It's time someone took up the role to standardise these things. We have 1-litre of petrol, 1kg of cement, a dozen eggs. Why can't someone in the country fight for sizing? Is it that hard?

        • Whenever I see a movie where a woman is being held in jail and her lawyer gets her clothes for trial I always think. How the HELL did they get the sizing right?

        • Clearly not someone who understand how fashion/clothing works, why would you need it standardises unless we start paying more for fat people clothing (which I think we should - more material surely means higher cost). Thankfully there is still some creative license in the clothing design world which gives the customer choice between a clean, tidy, fitted look right across to a baggy, disgusting, vagrant size too big look.

        • at what point has anyone complained about the pricing?

        • asians are small
