  • can you post that activate now link.

That activation link is user specific so you will have to wait for yours to turn up.

    • -1

      that's right ;)

    • And NOT all FlyBuy members get the same offer, soooo don't hold your breath

  • Might be a targeted offer, I got an email for bonus points if I spent a certain amount during that same period.

  • These are tailored offers.
They obviously know I'm a TA as mine is
Get your $10 voucher when you spend $40 at Coles
Get your $15 voucher when you spend $60 at Coles
Get your $20 voucher when you spend $80 at Coles

  • This is targeted, I got one that said I had to spend $110, $130, $150 for the $10, $15, $20.

  • +2

Make sure you keep your receipt, it will contain the voucher at the bottom…

ALSO Get any 2 of Birds Eye products at Coles from 1-31 Jan to get a set of FREE Disney Stationery for your kids ;) http://birdseye.com.au/news/2014/01/free-disney-stationery-s…

  • Yes, this is a targeted offer
My offer started at $10 for spending $50. There is a very short expiry period on the voucher so it is only useful if you are a regular shopper at Coles.

    • +2

Mine was $2.50 for spending $50.

  • Wow - I'm getting peanuts via way of special offers from Flybuys. Previously I was quite a user & abuser of these.

Anyone else had this happen? Is it worth setting up a new account to start again?

    • +4

The less you spend there, the better the offers…

      • lol, I agree and their prices are a bit better than Woolworths, at least if you combine with other ways of gaining FlyBuys points, it's worth it, such as 1000 for monthly survey, ING 5% paywave, etc ;)

        • +1

I agree, their prices are best when u don't shop there at all.

      • +2

Sounds like its time to start a fresh flybuys account then.

      • or you can spend there without scanning your flybuy card

      • +1

Get 2 cards, one card for collecting points, and the other one just to receive offers :)

    • +5

If you've got less than 2000 points in your existing account and no pending bonus offers then it might be worth starting again. Use a different email address on the second account.

When you get your new account spend as little as possible on the card in order to generate good offers. It might take a while for Flybuys to get enough demographic and spending information in order to start sending suitable offers. They may just start with something like double points or triple points rather than set price targets.

If you want them to target your offers at $60, make one transaction of $40 or $50 with your flybuys card and then a second transaction after that for a small amount without swiping your card. Put your fresh fruit and veg, deli items, fresh meat and frozen food in the first transaction. Flybuys seem to be targeting these categories lately for docket deals. You might miss out on base points but in the long run you will get lots more bonus points.

If you want more tips or have other suggestions send me a PM.

Had to chase them up today for 3 separate bonus point offers that they hadnt credited 5 weeks after their promo end dates. Keep your receipts, or else they will never honour what they promise. Its also handy to take screen shots on your phone of the offers they send

    • I just keep the offer emails. I've had to chase them up a couple of times recently and I need to chase them again over some Target bonus points. They had a promotion which said could be taken up multiple times and then they only paid out once on the promotion when I'd taken it up twice.

I got my $10 voucher from the Australia Day promotion. It says that it can be only used by the particular flybuys card which earned it.

      • What's the best way to contact them? They sent me an offer but my receipt did not have a voucher. They have no email contact on their website.

        • Email contact form is well hidden.

Who can I call for help on flybuys?

The flybuys Service Centre can be reached on 13 1116 between Monday and Friday, 9am to 7pm, Australian Eastern Time (excluding national public holidays).

"No" brings up an email contact form.

        • I use the contact us form for most of my enquiries however for a problem like the one you mentioned, it might be quicker to ring the flybuys call center first thing on Tuesday morning.

Was your current flybuys balance listed on the receipt? I sometimes find that the Coles stores are offline from time to time. If they print your flybuys barcode number but don't have your current points balance then it might mean the system was offline and therefore they couldn't track your targeted offfers and print the voucher.

If you have facebook access then you might be able get a private message through to the flybuys rep on their page. Check whether other members have had similar problems on the "post by others" page. I don't know whether the rep works on public holidays but that's the quickest option I can think of.

        • +1

Yes it does have the current flybuys balance on the receipt.

Can't see anything similar on Facebook or Twitter yet. Doesn't look like they are online this weekend.

I have sent them an email and will give them a call tomorrow.

          Thank you for your reply.

        • Please let us know the outcome.

        • +1

Phoned them up and a discount came off my next shop automatically.

A reminder to keep an eye on receipts and statements for bonus points.

        • Thanks for letting us know.

I'm always checking my online statements. I've chased up over 1000 bonus points in the last few weeks.

  • Does anyone know if you can do a second qualifying shop and earn another discount voucher?

    • I wondered about that myself. I couldn't see anything in the fine print that said it was a once off or that it was a multiple use. If you do make two large transactions and get two vouchers then flybuys will probably increase your target in the following weeks for the offers.

    • You can! We got one yesterday for $20. And we got another one today for $10.

      • i can also confirm that it worked for me, i got a $20 voucher and then went again and got a $15 voucher, however i cannot confirm whether or not it works if you try and get the $20 one twice

        • +1

Based on this feedback [thanks guys], I too went back to Coles for a second shop. I can also confirm that you can earn a second voucher — and it can be to the same value as the previous voucher. I have earned two $20 vouchers during this promotion period.

In addition, I can confirm that you can purchase a recharge voucher [in my case, a $39.90 Amaysim voucher] and this will count towards your qualifying amount.

        • Well done, just don't forget to use the voucher before the expiry period.

  • Been reading about how we should expect these offers more frequently now that Colesworth is limited to 4c per litre vouchers.

Personally $20 off an $80 shop is worth a shite load more than 20c a litre would be.

  • Coles/Flybuys are running the voucher promotion again later this week. My email came today and the offer runs from Thursday to Sunday. I got the spend $50 for $10, $70 for $15 and $90 for $20. I actually don't need much this weekend. I spent last weeks voucher today and will only need a few things on the weekend. Maybe I'll give up this weeks offers in the hope I get a better one in the following weeks.

    • i seem to have bumped up my spend levels inadvertently from my past spends, haha, now i need to spend $80 to get a $10 voucher instead of $70

  • Does anyone know if these vouchers can be used to purchase Petrol at their service stations?

    • Not clear from the enticement email I got and I don't have the previous voucher any more but I think not, that would be a fuel discount in disguise and be against the spirit of the agreement with the ACCC. And also worth far more than the old fuel discounts so expensive for them. Also noticed this condition: You must spend 5c or more over the voucher value to redeem it.

  • Has anyone recently receive points for doing the coles survey?

    • I've received my points for January and all the surveys from last year.

  • In the first week I was targeted for $80 spend for $20 voucher, second offer was $100 spend for $20 voucher now this week $110 for $20 voucher wtf lol.

I think my mistake was actually activating the offers but never taking up any of them. I'm thinking their systems don't know if you've actually redeemed the offer till possibly later?

    • I received the same offer three weeks in a row. I took up the $10 offer in week one and week three.

    • If you have a smartphone, there is no need to activate the offer until you are sure you will use it. Otherwise they might cut back on future offers because they see that you are paying attention. On my smartphone all the pictures are displayed as links so they don't even know if I have read their email.
