    $29 for the Avalon flight to Sydney & $100 for the taxi fare from Melbourne CBD to Avalon Airport. Makes sense!

      Drive and park… half the price or get the $15 bus from Spencer St station… Doesnt mater what airport u choose… costs a crap load for a cab! or parking!

        I take Skybus to Tullamarine airport. I didn't realise there was a bus service to Avalon too.
        Looking at the flights I'd want to take a 6:30am from Avalon (so would need a 5:00am bus I suppose).

          Bus from spencer street meets every arrival and departure. There is also one to and from Geelong.

    Am I missing something? If you visit the Jetstar website and click on the link for more hot deals I see similar pricing but I do not have Jetstar Club membership etc. Can anyone point me to this "special" pricing?

          The club jetstar offer was early access before general public. I believe the general public went live at 7pm so it's for everyone to access now.

    Joined Club Jetstar a few months ago and are still waiting for their exclusive Club Jetstar sales. All I have seen so far is early access.

      They do two a year. Last one was in August. I got bkk return for $300aud.
      Assume next one will be soon.

    Don't want to sound sour but the way in which this deal was posted was confusing, un-informative and overall very poor. No specific prices were highlighted other than a very average price from Sydney to Melbourne that pops up weekly.

    This post hasn't made the front page, when it should have. There will be people who miss out on some pretty good prices, like $460 return from OOL to TYO, a similar price published in August last year got 90+ votes. This price really should have been noted, but OP decided to be first to post and rush, without noting any prices (other than the one discussed above), it wasn't until later that the OP actually added screenshots, which still didn't give us ANY information in the actually post. His response was just "click the links and read them yourselves".

      I agree and i Posted it… It was done on the fly and i wanted to get the offer out there but i didnt have the required time to post all the prices so posted screenshots instead.

    Just some extra info with SYD to DPS

    It's says it's one way but it's return and the return leg is as low as 204 on same days making it 464 return

    Also sale fares seem to still be available a bit past week 1 September I checked 18th and had them still

    Just watch the way you book flights on this deal.

    I booked flights to Japan in May total price with a little luggage (20kg) was $1163 for two. Sydney to Osaka.

    Now booking that via the website it came to $1300 plus luggage so I got it around $200 cheaper. How?

    I booked the flights separately

    Syd - CNS
    CNS - Osaka
    and same on return.

    Plus being an Ozbargainer I arranged a price match (Tiger) for the Syd CNS which saved more.

    So skipping the baggage costs which are the same whatever way you book it.

    Syd - CNS $67
    CNS Osaka $199
    Osaka - CNS $171.46
    Cns - Syd $99

    (1 PAX rates = 564 vs 650)

    The bonus is that I got on a later flight from Syd - CNS which would have cost more if I booked the Syd to Osaka
    and it turns out my Syd - Cns flight is the same plane that is flying on to Osaka. So if it's delayed then I wont miss the flight.

    Negative is that I have a longer stay in Cairns on the way back as I missed the point that an earlier connection CNS to SYD was in fact the same plane. But I wasnt to fussed as it gives us a few hours (8 to look around Cairns which I havent been to for 20 years)

    I mention this in case it helps someone else save some money.
