something like that would drive me nuts. the touchpads on laptops and similar are horrendous.

    • If this version is pretty much the same as their Mac version, then these are definitely not similar to standard PC laptops. If you are averse to trackpads, fine. Otherwise worth a try.

  • Was cheaper at logitech.com, when they had their 30% off sale (expired yesterday)
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/131699

    $49 with 30% off = $34.3 + delivery (free delivery on order over $100)

    • Only if you got free shipping. I ordered it, and came to be $40.63

      Except it is Mac version.

  • Got a set (Mac + PC) last time when COTD doing the same price before X'mas with hope to ease my wrist problem.

    Been using them since.

The PC version you need to load a driver to enable multi touch gesture, which it failed to be installed in my work PC.

The Mac version is slighly better, more sensitive and support more mac gestures. But it doesn't allow hand writing capturing.

Not too bad but honestly I think it is a bit over price even at $39.95.

    • But it doesn't allow hand writing capturing.

      Bummer, did not know that.

  • Using one right now on my work PC, I've had the their "Setpoint" software crash a couple of times, which didn't affect me much, except I like the Mac style scrolling(Natural Scrolling) and when SetPoint crashes it takes that scrolling direction with it.

Battery life, fairly heavy use and I always leave the switch on the side turned on might get 2-3 weeks between charges.

Otherwise its pretty smooth and reacts pretty much as you'd expect. Quick, responsive.

It has tap to click, but also the feet under the front act as buttons, so you can physically push the trackpad down and it activates the left or right button depending on what side of the trackpad you are on.

I paid like nearly $70 for mine when I got mine and I felt the quality and performance was worth it. at $40 I'd totally jump at it.
