Hmmm, G19 for $99 seems pretty good, especially as coupon works on it too

    http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/programmable-gaming-ke…

    • +3

Yes a G19 for $75.63 delivered seems very cheap.

      • strange cart for me says $75.05 del

        • diff postcode I guess - mine is to Canberra

        • ok when i paid for it ,its now $75.63 weird

        • +1

          extra $0.60 for the stamp?

      • +5

Hmm I'm tempted but would prefer a mechanical keyboard.
Pity the G710 is $200 before discount.

        • Is the " Logitech Wireless Trackball M570" any good?

        • +1

Good, I just bought 1 recently and MSY sold it 45, but seems out of stock at the moment. Very good mouse.

        • +1

Double check prices, the trackball was on other deals for much cheaper recently. Same with all other products. 30% off is great only if the list price isn't 30% more than market price…

    • I stopped buying logitech keyboard and mouse products as too many issues with wireless receiver issues.
      Good deal though.

    • +2

I don't know about you guys, but if I'm going to spend over $70 for a keyboard, I'd rather go for a high quality mechanical keyboard like a Filco.

Logitech UE Air Speaker for $118.30 is a bargain

    http://ue.logitech.com/en-au/wireless-speakers

    • Thanks! That's a true bargain price. Time to buy…

    • +1

Great price. Got it for $149 at dick smith last year and am very happy with it.
Some issues I have with it though:
      1. Audio stutters when you stream music and airplay it at the same time (spotify or pandora). This does not happen when playing songs downloaded onto the phone which is what I do with spotify now by making them available offline.
      2. I bought a 30 pin to lightning adaptor CABLE and it did not work with my iphone 5. I have not tried using the lightning adaptor without the cable though, instead I just airplay it.

Overall however the sound is really good and it is very convenient to use. Recommended especially at this price

    • Thans, bought 2

  • +2

Omg I nearly bought a keyboard from their website yesterday, thank goodness I did! Thanks OP! :)

    • +2

      *didnt

  • +3

Great deal OP. Too bad Logitech.com is the most expensive place to buy Logitech gear so its probably more like a 10% deal if that!

    • +1

I've been looking at the 950t wireless mouse. With the discount it is $90.96. Umar, MSY & CPL all sell it for $89 :(.

      I'd check the prices carefully.

    • True - and a lot of it can be found for a couple of bucks less elsewhere. Though if you take into account free shipping, this might be a better deal for some.

  • +1

I know I'm going to sound stupid for asking this, but…

    Would this work for Windows?
    http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/wireless-solar-keyboar…

    • +1

      Works fine.

You'll have to get used to having the Windows and alt buttons switched.
Also there's no Print Screen button so you'll have to change one of the F13~F15 buttons to it.
Use SharpKeys to make changes directly to the registry so you don't have to keep a program running in the background.

      • Thanks for the reply!

    • +3

with the curtains open and only during AEDT hours - yes

      • There's a battery in it so the solar charges the battery. But if you use it only in the dark with no indoor lighting.. then the battery will never charge.

        • +2

i call bs on that, i have the windows version and it charges with the indoor lighting in my office.

it all depends on how bright your office is, normal lighting will charge.

        • +1

          "with no indoor lighting"

  • Awesome price for the Solar mac keyboard too http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/wireless-solar-keyboar…

  • Meh, Logitechshop still cheaper on the UE Mobile Boom speaker.

    http://www.logitechshop.com.au/logitech-ue-mobile-boombox-re…

Was looking at the z240 speakers, but still not in stock http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/multimedia-speakers-z2…

Not a bad sale on some items, for sure.

    • -5

I wonder if Apple would allow me to setup a store called Appleshop and sell their products. I sure hope logitechshop have permission to use the trademark…

      • Yeah mate it's called an authorised reseller i.e. Next Byte

Thanks OP - got the g19.Also wanted to buy the G500 Gaming mouse but when I add to cart, it says not available.

    http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/programmable-gaming-mo…

    • +1

only thing I was interested in and its not in stock (but you don't find that out until you've tried to add it to your cart). Asses.

  • How long did it take for the confirmation email to reach ? It's been 15 min and i still didn't get one, not in spam either.

    • 15 Seconds

    • I told you, [email protected] won't redirect to you automatically.

    • +1

I never got a confirmation email. The order shows up in 'Order History' though…

edit: Never mind, just got mine, after 3 hours.

      • Thanks same with me, took 3.5 hours.

  • Thanks OP, very happy with purchases. Didn't have to mention 7/11 either = berry bood.

  • +3

Check prices elsewhere first. Just looked up Logitech UE600 earphones, $80 ebay, $179 logitech before 30%.

    • yep good comparison I always know I am getting an authentic item that is protected by PayPal buyer purchase

  • +2

Good prices on their website,……. the C920 webcamera is only $160 AUD direct from logitech or $75 in stores / static ice online ,……….
    yeahhhhhhhh……

  • anyone know if the m555b mouse is any good, and/or well priced in this sale? My girlfriend wants a bluetooth mouse for her new laptop for uni.

    http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/bluetooth-mouse-m555b?…

    • +1

It's a decent portable mouse, but I had to replace the two AA batteries every fortnight. Switched to the M705 mouse and the battery life is night and day – lasted over a year. M705 has trouble tracking on some smoother surfaces like desks though, which might make it unsuitable for uni.

      • Yeah I have a m705 from several years ago (the old one with the back button on the top near the thumb instead of the side), and I don't think I have ever changed the battery in it (I don't use it too often though).

Looking for a bluetooth mouse this time though. From some looking around, the price of the m555b looks ok here if I get free shipping (buying with some other stuff), but I did notice it doesn't have a back button, which is a bit lame.

  • I am thinking whether I should get the Harmony Smart Control, but its not a big bargain as the original listed price in Logitech site is much higher than any prices found in staticice…

    • $118.96 shipped it's the best price I've seen for this, apart from 10 units shoppingexpress had for $99 during an ultimate hour. Decent price now or save $10-20 at some point in the future.

      • +1

It's not an urgent item for me, so I probably wait for shoppingexpress to have another further discount in the future, Thanks mate :)

        • I just bought one myself, I've wanted to play with one of these for awhile.

  • Too bad they don't have Dinovo mini :(

  • Bought two iPad bluetooth keyboard cases to use with my two apple TVs.

  • Anyone having problem with the coupon code? I've tried several times and nothing happened.

  • what do people think of the ultimate for 279 shipped?? cheapest on staticice is 275 from mwave not sure about shipping there. have people seen it cheaper?

    • Logitechshop was doing them for $259 shipped at the start of the month through eBay. $279 is really the most you'd want to pay.

      • cheers!

        • But as I said before $279 in the hand in the next week vs waiting just to save yourself $10-20. Which would you prefer?

        • im a cheapo but I'm pretty keen to get this badboy so i just got one!

        • +1

Well regardless if it's cheaper tomorrow or in a month you'll be getting it sooner. I have the touch and really like it, so got the smart control for another room. The Ultimate Looks awesome though and is a slightly better remote than the Touch.

  • damn, cant decide whether to get the g19 or spend the extra for a Ducky mechanical board

    • +1

I have the same first world problem.
But Ducky doesn't have macro keys.

      • +1

the macro keys doesnt really matter too much to me

      • +1

that's a classic, 'first world problem' as in too many choices.

        Imagine how Justin Beber feels.

      • Uh, yes it does… technically.

It has an entire numpad you can remap into any macro you want with AutoHotKey.

If you're having problems picking between this and a mechanical board then you are insane. Any mechanical board, including some 10 year old Cherry manufactured board, is significantly better than this.

    • +1

I would pick the ducky hands down. I'd also go tenkeyless if gaming and wanted extra space for the mouse.

  • +9

    UE miniboombox $99.90 less discount ($30)+ postage $11.50= $81.46

That's more than the regular everyday price of $78 shipped found on Logitechshop

If I don't apply discount its free postage, after apply discount its $11.50 postage…, like the taxman. Give with one hand take with the other lol

  • +12

A lot of the products on the official website are almost double the actual price you will find it at a retail or online store, so even with the 30% off it isn't a bargain.

    • +1

      but not all.

  • +1

    G19 ordered. cheers mate.

  • +4

I'm amazed at the community response here… this is a classic Harvey Norman hatchet job. Mark up by 60%, reduce by 30% and call it a sale.

$150 for a G700s? What year do these morons think it is? That was the original G700's RRP about 3 years ago.

$110 for an M570 trackball? MSY has had them at $45 for several months now.

$69 for a K400R? It's been as low as $12 bucks at OW.

    $110 for a G430 headset; I picked up one for $55 shipped: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/127747

Looking at the prices for the G19s and G710+ is enough to give me an aneurysm.

Even 50% off all stock wouldn't be enough to salvage this sham.

If you think this is a sale, revoke your OB membership and then enter the model number of any product you want into StaticICE and have a field day with the results.

    • +5

the g19 at 99$ is pretty much cheapest around, with 30% thats a good price. Most of the other items, yeah the prices arnt competitive at all

      • +7

Then the deal should be amended to reflect the fact that the only bargain to be had here is the G19. I had a good look and I couldn't find anything that wasn't beaten by StaticICE, Amazon or another online retailer.

Logitech can call this whatever they want, a "sale", the deal of the century, our shareholder's worst nightmare; but the whole point of a bargain-hunting site is to be able to cut through the marketing bullsh*t and call a spade a spade. If there's only 1-5 items really worthy of being bought, then why do we have to perpetuate Logitech's dishonesty and say it's a sale, when in reality; no, it's just not.

It never ceases to amaze me how much generosity and benefit of the doubt people extend to giant corporations who have it in their best interests to rip people off, just because they're getting a keyboard or a mouse for a little bit cheaper.

      • +3

The G19 is also a horrible keyboard. $99 for a rubber dome board with a 4" screen? Really?

        • Ssshh, you'll ruin everyone's illusion of scoring a criminally-good deal on an out-of-production keyboard with a screen that'll tell you the weather during gaming. Shit, if that's not the next evolution in keyboards, I don't know what is. It just needs a cupholder and some shiny chrome fascia and it could win a Nobel Prize.

These links also help to confirm just how mind-blowingly unprecedented this deal is and how much it deserves everyone's blind approval:
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/130912
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/128023

        • but g19 is $75 on this deal…. (not saying it a good keyboard)

    • -5

Would you like your ass wiped too sir?

The fact is there are some bargains to be had, despite not everything being super cheap. OB membership is not for the lazy.

      • -3

IQs sure have dropped sharply on here as of late, or maybe it's the 'Straya Day pre-pre-pre-drinks; as per the OB rules, if it can be had cheaper elsewhere, it's not a bargain. QQ all you like, but I have legitimate reason to neg this farce.

By all means though, drop $99 on an overpriced, out-of-production G(immick)19 keyboard.

Would you like your ass wiped too sir?

Your services would be better suited to the butthurt crowd who negged me, seems they have some anal retentive issues.

        • -1

you sound pretty un-Australian to me, Amar. Having a dig at our national day and people having a drink to celebrate it is completely unnecessary and weakens your argument somewhat.

        • -3

Because chugging cheap piss and waving a Chinese-made flag is the epitome of Australian identity isn't it?
Do you know what dignity is; here's a hint, it doesn't come in a bottle.

You sound quite irrational and eager to deflect from my point with sentimental gibberish.

I wasn't having an dig at Australia day, I was having a dig at the hissy fit Atlas threw, for no real reason, because he had no argument.

Keep negging, I know it's hard to type with blood alcohol levels 3 times above the legal limit.

        • +3

I was having a dig at the hissy fit Atlas threw

Not sure you're in much of a position to be accusing anyone of throwing a hissy fit there Amar. You're so attached to your neg vote that you're insulting, and attempting to discredit, anyone who disagrees - with broad generalisations to boot. Maybe step away from the keyboard for a bit.

Regards, a non-drinker who disagrees with you and your excessive comments. Not that it should matter a single tiny bit.

        • -2

If people would just stop for a second to quantify their opinions rather than hitting the neg button, I'd have less to say about the culture of instant gratification and lemming-like behaviour.

          What is everyone's point?

That I'm being too honest about how this deal is not a deal? Should I just back off because the infallible OB hive-mind has spoken? Is there a Gestapo watchdog standing over my shoulder?

Cognitive dissonance really is becoming something of a trademark on here.

Pacify agreed with me, colbus123 stated almost exactly what I did (albeit with less detail), and neither got negged.

I merely gave some specific examples of how disingenuous this deal is, after a 5-minute look at Logitech's website, and suddenly I'm "un-Australian" and "self-entitled", egotistical and pompous, because I think that spending $150 on a goddamned mouse that you can have for $80 is ridiculous?

Regards, a non-drinker who disagrees with you and your excessive comments.

I don't think it has anything to do with that, unless there is such a thing as being "excessively honest" when it comes to spending money.

I just think people here have low thresholds for what constitutes a "deal" and even lower thresholds for what constitutes causing offence, and there's almost no quality control on here because people want to feel like overly self-empowered consumers with unlimited buying power every single day, who are sticking it to the man and getting in on super-secret savings that 99% of consumers are unaware of, when in reality they're actually being shafted more often than not; on a bargain-hunting site of all places.

Naturally anyone that tries to break the mould of this cognitive dissonance is criticised for no real reason, because they're snapping them back to reality.

A reality of wasted income on sub-par products for not-that-great prices; behaviour which is being cheered-on and encouraged by legions of middle class, hyper-materialists who live vicariously through this hyper-consumerism, which is like an opiate for them that keeps them feeling validated and self-assured.

I used to crave that as well, until I realised how much of a money sink this place can be sometimes and how utterly deluded we all are sometimes.

Hypocritically we deride other groups for displaying these very same traits; the big businesses, captains of industry, corrupt politicians and corporate CEOs at the top of the food chain who regularly throw precious innumerable amounts of resources into the meat grinder due to sheer negligence and carelessness, but when we do it… oh well, oops-a-daisy, just another a keyboard to add to my mounting collection of useless crap filling up the garage, just more Chinese-stamped plastic goods that I know will be in my local landfill in a month's time; I'm still morally superior and not at all jaded (fingers crossed).

It's a case of whatever looks good at first glance, chuck it on here, and worry about whether you made the wrong choice when you look over your bank statement next month.

It's just feeble-mindedness. It's hard to believe people are this haphazard with their finances and have this much disposable income, although undoubtedly our craving for that bargain-hunting high has something to do with it, but maybe the state of the global economy is a testament to the total loose cannon that the modern consumer is.

I'm not trying to be deliberately smug and pretentious, I'm just waiting for someone to tell me what's wrong with wanting to scrutinise the deals that are posted on here a bit more?

Is that really such a bad thing? Or are you all pissed off at me because maybe I'm touching upon a self-destructive, regretful impulse that you can't admit to?

        • +3

Just stop, man. You've obviously got some issues that are a little bigger than this average Logitech deal - you should probably take them somewhere else.

        • Done.

This is just something I've consistently noticed. Felt it warranted some mention; shame people can't see the forest for the 30% percent off, plastic, Chinese-made trees.

        • +2

          Some of the points you just made are all very well and good, and are probably deserving of a forum post where they can be properly debated. However, that's not what I was calling excessive;

I'm not trying to be deliberately smug and pretentious

Then you're failing miserably. You're calling people unintelligent and/or drunk, disparaging the products themselves (and the people interested in them), and making massive generalisations - whilst simultaneously ranting about Australian culture and all the while acting overly hostile, condescending, and ridiculously reactionary. Just… calm down a tad.

          Edit: basically what johnno07 said.

        • Because chugging cheap piss and waving a Chinese-made flag is the epitome of Australian identity isn't it?

Pretty much. It wasn't so bad a few decades ago when those flags were Australian-made. It least most (cheap) booze still is - keeps some employed.

But, you're too philosophical for this site - people come here for some instant gratification - being convinced that they're scoring wins by spending more. Why spoil it?

        • its was 99 + 30% off so $75

        • +1

Still $65 too expensive for a rubber dome. $75 will buy you a QFR or QTK on sale, and those are great build quality mechanical keyboards with NKRO, among other things.

        • Really?

Ive been hunting for a mech kb for awhile, the cheapest ive still seen is a Ducky with no backlight for around $100.

        • +1

Right now you can buy Vortex F-104 or CM Storm QFP for <$100 AUD, Australian stock. The QFP has partial backlighting on the left half of the keyboard and arrow keys AFAIK.

You could always buy second hand— given that these keyboards are built to last, retain their value, and can be easily cleaned— they are often for listed for sale.

  • -1

Thanks I've bought a loads of items and the 30% worked you've saved us heaps today.

    .

  • I got the UE Air speaker and the K811 keyboard and the total was $269 and after the discount it was $201 with free shipping, am I wrong or is that not 30% ???
also I think the transaction is being processed OS so be prepared to be slugged extra fee`s on your credit card

    • As long as you were billed in AUD, it should be okay.

      • a transaction from either Amazon or Ebay can be processed in AUD but they still incur an OS transaction fee.

  • Argh was about to checkout when the page messes itself up. Check my statements and nothings been charged so do it again and now the code is invalid. Anyone have the same issue?

  • +1

See plenty links to products, why was my post above unpublished? Was it because I posted it as tinyURL? O__O

Anyway, just saying that this iPad keyboard looks like a good buy. http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/keyboard-case-ipad?cri…

Says its for iPad 2, don't see why it wouldn't work for 3 and 4 as well.

  • Does anyone else have trouble adding Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z506 to the cart? It just shows up with nothing for me, doesn't happen with any other product I tried.

    http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/surround-sound-speaker…

    • Yup, doesn't work for me either.

  • +1

Seems like their prices are far more expensive than buying elsewhere.
