Nice. This was just voted number 1 in the JJJ Hottest 100 for 2013.

you must be horrible at parties Consumer Sheep..

Eh? I thought the public voted for JJJ's hottest 100…making all Australian's sexist.
Or perhaps there is just vastly more dudes in bands. Yeah, that's probably it. Guys are better singers than women. It all makes sense.

What has triple J sexism to do with this - it is dictated by a public vote.

      • It's voted on by men and women alike…

        Yes Women can vote too!

or turn the radio on for more than 5 minutes for those who don't use itunes

  • I like this song. Thing is, I already downloaded it ages ago via "other" methods. I guess this means I'm cool, then?

    • No you need to get the DRM locked version that you can't do what you want with.

iTunes music has been DRM-free for 5 years…

        • Sorry, my bad (Technically 5 years ago not all of it was DRM free).

This song only made it to #1 on the Hottest 100 as it was continually flogged on radio and in ads.

Medibank Private was the real winner of the Hottest 100. And Triple J is just another crap commercial station these days. See http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/music/calling-the-tune-2…

As was Lorde and Daft Punk. Whats your point? As was the winners from the Hottest 100's from the last how many years?

Its a popular little tune done by a guy playing a ukulele. What's not to love about that?

As for the article you linked -

Firstly - It's published online by the same people who run 96fm. Nuff said.

Secondly - Triple J has done more for home-grown and up & coming artists than all the other stations combined. To the point of creating a seperate channel for new and upcoming bands/artists.

Thirdly - They've interviewed one band member from one band that feels slighted by Triple J - Hardly a general consensus…
