  • Possibly the best price atm. Costco was selling it for $199 before Xmas.

  • damn $199 is cheap for this

  • Harvey Norman was $223 after Xmas.

    • the best i could get out of my local HN was $320 the other day. needless to say i laughed and walked out

The yellow Lumia 625 was $224 after Christmas at HN.

I think the black one with the interchangeable orange cover (if that was the one you were after) wasn't discounted by Nokia or whomever, because when I went to pick up a yellow one, I asked the salesman if he could do the black 625 for me at the same price as the yellow one. He looks up the black one on the computer and the cost price came up, and he slaps HN's margin on top of the cost and rounds it up "Sorry mate the best I can do for the black one is $xxx" while I'm standing right next to his monitor haha. Can't remember what his price for the black one was though, sorry. :/

Ended up picking up the yellow one and buying a $2 case off eBay so all good. :P

  • Not really better than a HTC 8x for 210 or so that I've seen on here before

    i want Lumia925 for $329 from HN…

Agree, waiting for that to come back too. Hope it does. Refuse to pay more now that I know it was $329

I got it with $5 off so for $324. Still can't believe how cheap it was! Best phone I've ever had by far

try telling that to an iBoy. I keep getting the standard retort "but what about the apps? MS don't have all the (mostly useless) apps that the iStore does"

You can't convince a sheep not to follow another sheep.

I don't have an iPhone, but I do think the wp app store still has a long way to go.

        • +1

Even the top apps don't work well, including whatsapp. Definitely a long way to go.

Since switching, I find that I use gasp websites instead of apps… It doesn't bother me that X-bank doesn't have an app, as long as their website is mobile friendly.

        • Exactly…why use a gimped banking app instead of the full site in the phone's browser with all of the features available.

  • The 64GB microSD will help to store my music as the phone has only 8 GB.

How is the phone performace considering it has only 512 MB RAM?

Is there a windows phone with 1GB RAM and microSD?

    • Samsung Ativ S deals are always coming around - I paid low 200s a few months back.
