    If you buy 3 of them it comes to just under $240 each delivered.
    Love the height adjustment, tilt and (More importantly for me anyway) the pivot.

    i bought one of these for 297 dec last year and im in love with its height adjustment (thou i never really swing it to landscape mode) but overally its a great monitor and an excellent bargain for 245.

      how does it actually work with landscape mode? with like view websites, word, etc.

        all you have to do is twist the monitor to landscape mode and either you use Magic Rotation supplied by samsung (if you dont have a gfx card or using a lower end laptop) or most gfx card would have the option to rotate the screen.

    Can anyone confirm whether it's 8000:1 or 20,000:1 DC?
    Did Samsung re-release the 2243BW with 20,000:1 or something?

    But to tell you the truth it doesn't bother me that much for this price.

    lcd monitor vs lcd tv? difference are?
    get i get monitor and receive tv channels> sorry i am an overseas student.not quite clear bout the stuff here.

      monitor wont provide u free tv channels. thr r several ways to get..

      1. connect it with a pc with tv tuner card/usb dongle
      2. connect it with set top box if the monitor does have appropriate I/O port like hdmi or component etc
      3. connect it with really old analogue external tv tuner, it will only let you see free to air analogue tv channels though.

      the deal is over now.. but for future reference
      An LCD TV will be large screen (generally 26-60 inches diagonal), low resolution (maximum will be the Full HD 1920 x 1080) and includes a TV tuner, in-built speakers, remote control etc just like a regular TV.
      An LCD monitor will be small screen (generally 17-30 inch diagonal), high resolution (minimum 1024x768 up to 2560 x 1600) some have inbuilt speakers but none have a TV tuner or remote control ..

      As manitok says, you can make a monitor a TV, similarly you can make some TV's a monitor (albeit a poor quality one)

        good explantion so i can get one that suits me.i'l guess i have to go for lcd monitor as its cheaper right?
        but lcd monitor means i need to connect to a laptop or some sort yeh?

    Great monitor at a great price. My father bought one from Umart a couple of weeks ago for about 30 dollars more, which was still a bargain but at this price its a great deal.
