    before stocks run out.

is there a water shortage ?

    • +3

There might be a cup shortage
(the small cups are quite short)

perfect excuse to go get another mcflurry :)

    • Why would you get a mcflurry when you can get 3xcones + add toppings on it.

  • +6

The Coke Zero page on Facebook says that this promotion is only available to the first 100 customers per Maccas store. Perhaps OP should include this minor detail in the original post?

sounded tempting till I realised its Coke Zero, I think I'll leave this freebie to people who actually like it.

Couldn't pay me to drink aspartame.

    • Just in case you're referencing health (rather than taste) related issues, read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspartame#Safety_and_approval_c…

      Then, read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar#Health_effects

One is essentially poisoness at typical consumption levels, and one isn't. And unfortunately, most people have it backwards.

      • Just in case you're still reading, note that

it takes approximately 21 cans of diet soda daily to consume the 3,750 milligrams (0.132 oz) of aspartame that would surpass the FDA's 50 milligrams per kilogram of body weight ADI of aspartame from diet soda alone.
        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspartame#Intake

        • -1

Yes I believe and trust wholeheartedly in the benevolent FDA ;-)
          & lol @ Wikipedia as a source.
Whoever controls the media controls the mind ;-)

Take care and drink away :-D

        • -1

          1) Why be so FDA-centric in your thinking? The US is not the centre of the universe. What's significant are the countless other regulatory agencies who have deemed it to be perfectly safe (including the EFSA who tend to buck trends if there's even an inkling of a genuine safety concern).

          2) LOL @ failing to understand the value of Wikipedia. Every academically significant article is basically a summary of the provided references which you can subsequently peruse and evaluate for yourself: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspartame#References

          For example: http://www.efsa.europa.eu/en/topics/topic/aspartame.htm

          Neat trick, huh?

        • -3

Definitely, a very neat trick- couldn't have used a more appropriate word :-D

Ignorence is bliss and I truely envy the gullibility of your mind- no lie.
I am forced to live in both worlds whereas you-in just the one, as your eye will not see what your mind doesn't know ;-)
You are able to dismiss mine in blindness, sadly I do not have such a luxury. Once the eye is open it can never be closed ;-)

Anyway I refuse to battle wits with an unarmed person and you sir/ma'am are hopelessly unarmed- no offence.
Never be afraid to challenge the status quo- it's what almost all the greats have done, especially Tesla (gotta love him :-))

I pray your blindness is only temporary and sincerely hope you have a great night :-)

Thanks for the read- you put a smile on my face and that I needed :-)

          Information vs idiocy I guess.

        • -2

Hahaha, you sir are truely a fool. And I'm not insulting you-im describing you ;-)
The information you provide whether your small mind can comprehend or not (once again not insulting but describing), comes directly from organisations that have a horrible at best track record (even you know this) and an obvious agenda. Unbiased information should always be sought out and obtained from sources and studies not dependent on funding from individuals or groups with an agenda (other than the truth), which will manipulate, lie and discredit such results and the persons involved in obtaining them if not aligned with their 'agenda'.
One case among many that comes to mind is that of Dr Arpad Pusztai, world renowned expert on food safety and worldwide leading expert in his field who was suspended, gagged then fired for warning against GE foods.

          [link] (http://www.psrast.org/pusztai.htm)

          [link] (http://www.sott.net/article/237064-GMO-Researchers-Attacked-…)

          Sadly these pieces of information
(which are obviously demonised after their results go against the 'status quo'/agenda) regardless off their accuracy will be dismissed by an ignorent individual such as yourself as your mind is already made up. To you this is most probably moonbattery, to coin the phrase, at its finest.

It is not my job to educate the ignorent such as yourself. I am confident that my time is worth alot more than yours. If you are willing to reimburse me for my wasted time then I'll be more than happy to educate you, but I assume you already feel you are educated and nothing more can be added to a glass that is already full ;-)
I have already wasted 5 minutes on you to undoubtedly no avail and haveore pressing issues to deal with.
I do apologise for engaging wits with someone as unarmed as you- not my proudest moment.

I pray you have not taken offence to what I have written and sincerely wish you a great day. Take care, t'was fun :-)

        • Discussion is fine and encouraged but let's try and be civil and not resort to personal attacks.

        • -1

I do apologise neil and will not be revisiting this page again. It probably is the wrong place for this type of discussion anyway. I take responsibility as it is my comment that started all this and I can see how my views on a user/s may be construed as a personal attack. I do not hold any animosity against cainn and wish him the best :-)
My apologies again to both cainn and the mods.

          Goodday :-)
