  sick of the blind hate against beats and the blind fanboyism for the m50.
  
  even though they are more expensive, the beats aren't even that bad. the 2013 studios are considerably better than the old model and the beats pros have always been able to hold their own.
  
  the price tag is the only problem with the beats - if it were reduced, they would be popular as hell even in the audiophile crowd.
  
  there's also nothing wrong with heavy bass emphasis (whereas the white box m50 has almost no bass impact). you can listen to a 1k headphone and not enjoy it if you are a basshead who just wants to have fun and move around, which is a huge proportion of the population.
