Does this belong in the forums?

  • No its a deal, you get $5 off Ticketmaster tickets when you use a code found in their packets :)

  • +2

a $5 saving is good, but it kind of moves to meh when you have to spend $2 to get the $5 saving, even though you get the weetbix to eat….

    • +2

I had to buy it anyway so it was just a bonus. I guess if you dont eat Weetbix not such a good deal.

  • Yes it is…even if you don't eat weet-bix.

Buy $10 worth of weet-bix save $15 off any event through ticketmaster plus you get free weet-bix!

Anyone know the expiry date though?
    It is not listed…

    • So looks like you can't save them up and get $25 off in one hit, you just can redeem it up to a total of 5 times

I think $5 dollars is the maximum you can get off. :)

      • Are you sure?

It says max $25 though, so therefore you should be able to use 5 at a time, if it was a max of $5 then wouldn't it be unlimited to the amount of events you are seeing?

    • Yep its listed is until 20 April :)

  • Just fyi, the code is in a card inside the bottom of each box so you need to open all the boxes to get to code. Also there is an instant draw with each card so you may be lucky to win other prizes. I was 0/5 so that's 5 chances out of circulation=)

  • rule #8
Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a $5-off promo number are not included. Redemption of a $5-off promo number is subject to any terms and conditions of Ticketmaster. $5-off promo code must be used by 20th October 2014.

    Rule #9
Maximum of five (5) x $5-off promo numbers permitted per person. Each claim must be submitted separately in accordance with the claim requirements. Only one (1) unique code per claim is permitted. The same unique code cannot be used more than once. Unrecognised codes will be deemed invalid.

I don't see the value in this even as a weetbix eater, yep I can save $3. yay

    • With rule 9, you submit each unique code from each card separately, and receive a $5 gift card for use on the Ticketmaster website each time ie. Submit five separate claims for 5x$5 gift card.

Then in the Ticketmaster website you use the 5 individual gift cards to get $25 off.

I personally used it for King Kong to get $25 off one ticket, and don't see why it can't be used for the $20 tickets for the Melbourne comedy festival. You only need 4 codes in this case, or 5 if you are able to use it for the transaction fee.

  • Oh and the title needs to be changed as it is incorrect and misleading

    • Updated title :)
