It's already after 10am (midnight in Europe) so the offer can get you $80 now (not $125 as before 10am)

Note: At the end of this post is how to get $25 with your Australian Apple/Google ID // the other $55 is with European Apple ID you can create in 5 minutes

(I don't have Android, but I guess it will be similar)

Create a new Apple ID for any European country, I did it with the UK so preferably open one for the UK too.

  • when you have an European Apple ID, login with it to the App Store
  • download the Hotel Tonight app
  • open it
  • register with promo code EUROPENEW: this will give you 15 pounds
  • click "redeem promo code" and enter BOOKEUROPE: this will give you another 15 pounds
    go here http://www.htmoments.com/ and submit with the SAME email you used for Hotel Tonight app: this will give you 25 pounds : this last one works only until 10am!!!

All together 55 30 pounds ~ $100 $55 AUD for hotel booking

EDIT: Some users have a small issue that the "EUROPENEW" credit was awarded in USD. Electronictomato found that you can get around this issue, sign up through their website instead; select "United Kingdom" as your country and enter EUROPENEW as the promo code: http://www.hoteltonight.com/customers/new

The bad thing is the Hotel Tonight is not in Australia yet, so you can book only overseas hotels. But I'm sure they will come here soon and the credit is valid for 365 days.

Now to get additional $25 with Australian Apple ID

  • delete the app from your phone
  • login with your Australian Apple ID
  • download the app
  • open it
  • register second account with different email and use promo code: BOOKAUSTRALIA: this will give you $25

Enjoy, I wasted almost two hours figuring it out :) I hope they won't go bankrupt until I'll have a chance to use it :)

      I got US $25 for signing up. Then I can't use BOOKEUROPE which is not to be used on US credits. Problem is I dont asked for US dollars in the first place. I tried two different devices signing up 2 different accounts. I always got US dollars. Any way to get around this???

          And it did not work? I created one for the UK and the account was in pounds.
          I also set the phone in settings - general - international - region format to UK … maybe try that?

          Also Iceland's currency is Icelandic króna which may be the issue

          I read the post, used my UK iTunes account, and am encountering the same issue as kiwipride. I also switched the currency to GBP in the app, but the "EUROPENEW" credit was awarded in US$. :(

    Just in the UK now and had by chance switched my Apple/iTunes account to UK yesterday for something else and was already planning to use Hotel Tonight next week for a few days anyway. - Great timing and great find! Makes the London hotel prices bearable. - Thanks!!

    Worked perfectly on andriod here - did one for me and the GF.

    Have got the 30 pounds no problem - yet to see the extra 25 from the htmoments come through.. should show up tomorrow maybe!

    EDIT: Just read that the extra 25 pounds has until May 4, 2014 to use?

    does that mean the $100 AUD and $25 AUD are associated with different HT accounts? if so, how can a person use both credits on the same booking?
