I spoke to Escape Travel. It's ADL>SYD with Virgin Australia, then SYD>NAN>LAX with Fiji Airlines. On sale till the end of February.
Worthy of note is that the SYD>NAN & NAN>LAX flights are A330-200 (2x4x2 configuration).
What airline are they flying?
DL is offering ~$1150 from SYD so might be them? Either that or NZ via AKL.
Air China often has cheap fares via Beijing/Shanghai. Could be United too as they are usually a little cheaper than Qantas, Virgin and Delta. I wonder why Escape Travel can't just say who it is flying with?
Im pretty sure you can use your CBA Award points to pay as well…

can't find any evidence of these flights when searching (checked a few dates within range).

BEWARE. Patent company is Flightcentre!!! They'll get you in the door and 'Oh sorry, all specials fares gone but for only $500 more we can do…' and if you were needing to change your flight… would be the airline fee plus their expensive administration fee!!
Just make it clear to them that you're only interested in the advertised rate, and you won't pay a cent more. No need to take them to the ACCC. If you find a better deal elsewhere, get them to price match! (you can call it revenge)
The agent I spoke to was having trouble locating return seats for $1,099 (funny that) but she promised to keep looking tomorrow and let me know if they could be found. On one hand it's frustrating that you can't see the individual fares yourself on their website. On the other hand you're not competing with thousands of others clicking away at their website snatching the cheapest fares. On the other hand again, it's old-fashioned and frustrating :-P

Yes they were able to find seats for me for exactly $1,099 return (12-28 Oct), however now I've seen AirNZ flights going for $1,145 without the extra stop in Sydney (exact same dates), I'm tempted to fork out the extra $46pp. Though Fiji Airways have new A330s with 2x4x2 configuration… so the freely available 'snuggle seats' may compensate for the compulsory visit to Kingsford-Smith Airport. Yes, AirNZ have sky couch available… but it's an additional $699 per flight which won't be happening. Fiji Airlines it is. Bula!
Now that is bloody cheap!
