In other words, this is a catalog.

    • that was what i was thinking. 48 pages of spam

It is a catalogue, but loaded with info. I can highly recommend this company for all things organic gardening. They are highly knowledgeable on the telephone about what seeds suit what regions in Australia, far beyond the usual "warm temperate", "tropical" etc. If you spend a certain amount (from memory its over $100) you get a free gardening gift. Their seeds are excellent and their "joy" strawberries are a sell out every year. Asparagus plants are great too, as is the rhubarb. On the phone they give realistic advice and don't try to "upsell" things that aren't suitable to your purpose. As to a PDF catalogue - unnecessary, as its all on their website, just presented slightly differently. They also supply additional notes with their live plants and seeds. I've lived on their vegies all year and currently have a couple of dozen pumpkins on a vine grown from their seeds. Can also recommend their yellow aphid catcher cards. If you want live plants order early, they sell out fast. These people really know organic gardening.

  • Isn't this just their quarterly catalog (maybe) with a couple of editorials?

Isn't this just their quarterly catalog

Once a year we publish the Australian Organic Gardening Resource Guide.

  • How much does it usually cost?

  • +2

Pretty sure it's always free. In my experience buying from them they are a quality company for organic seeds and gear, fast delivery; my seeds arrived 2 days after order, I love reading the catalogue (yes basically a catalogue, but has all sorts of extra tips and info in it)

It would be nice if they simply posted the PDF on the website.

      • Agreed about the PDF idea. Bit silly to be all pro organic pro environmental consciousness, then send out hard copies of something that could easily be released electronically instead lol.

Still, cheers for the post, TA :) I loves me some gardenin'

    • So kind of like the old dick smith yearly catalouges but for gardening ;)
