      I purchased it when it was like $6.50, been using it for like close to three years now and not once have I never regretted paying that much for it. Worth every cent.

    Geez you must be pretty hard up if $3.50 isn't "worth" it. I mean are you in the position of deciding between a tin of baked beans and the app.

    Don't get me wrong I don't pay for apps if I can avoid it but I'd pay that much if there was no other way LOL.

    Totally worth it. Every single cent. I have several profiles that make my life easier.

    1. Anyone can SMS my phone a certain word/sentence and that will turn volume to max, ring my phone, vibrate, and flash so I can find it.

    2. Turn my phone to silent during work hours, turn it back to normal when I am finished.

    3. Unlocks my phone automatically upon connecting to a specific WIFI network, so I don't have to key in my code. When WIFI is not connected, my phone goes back to normal locking mode.

    4. When GPS is activated, volume is set to max.

    5. When YouTube or MX Player is opened, volume and brightness is set to max.

    6. When headphone jack is plugged in, volume is set to 25%.

    7. When someone not from my contact list calls, I have a different ring tone.

    Anymore good ones?

      1. Turn on WiFi when close to a known WiFi location and within range, turn off otherwise

      2. Turn to silent at night, but only if at home

      3. Only turn on GPS when using apps that need it

      4. Turn phone to 'work mode' when I'm within the buildings wifi range

        I have mine set to silent when wireless charging but no action on normal charging, which works for me as I only have one wireless charger and it's next to my bed.

        1. Daily Reboot
        2. Turn off security lock if I'm either WIFI/BT/POWER connected. Otherwise, security lock will be turned on 1 minutes later.
        3. Switch to 3G mode when screen on. Switch to 2G mode when screen off for 1 minute to save battery.

        Thanks @shiny1 for inspiring my next profile idea.

    I've had Tasker for a year now and I don't really care for it. I feel most of the functions it enables are trivial. IMO apps such as Light Flow and Lux give you way more bang for your buck.

    Can't complain about the deal. If you've been eyeing Tasker, then sure, get it. If this is the first time you've heard of the app, you might want to consider if you'll really be putting it to any use.
