  watch for layover time in Nadi. looks like most are 2-3 hours, but did notice a few of 9 hours.

      I flew with them 4 years ago, there was no on seat entertainment until the leg between Nadi and LA. Also, as mentioned, beware the layover, it's a dull airport to say the least. (It may have - probably has- changed)

        correct. No IFE between Syd and Nan, just a few flop down screens and a bottle of water
        and some dry biscuits if your lucky.

        For NAN to LAX there is IFE if you get a A330 but i think you might only get a few
        movies and then you have to Pay $$$ for the rest.

        We flew Bus NAN - LAX so everything included but the flight back from NAN - MEL you had
        to pay.

        also the layover times are horrible ..

        I would skip it and stick with a direct flight

        Airport still dull but the fleet has changed. These are new from the rebrand of air pacific that took place in second quarter last year to Fiji air

    Copped a 4 hr layover and told we weren't alowed to leave airport, with no smoking allowed anywhere. 18 hr-ish journey makes the ecigs a must. Entertainment selection was acceptable for the price.

  Btw, great price aside, if you're going to America, these are nice planes to go on. The fleet is the youngest (months old) to fly between AU and US cf Qantas and United at 10-20yo (unless you get the A380 to DFW)

    Qantas doesn't use A380s on their DFW route. They're only used on SYD and MEL to LAX
