Toshiba will EQUAL or BEAT any Competitor's Price

44

Thought I could share this with others. Seems like a good deal from Toshiba. Hopefully this one won't get nuked.

I wonder how does Toshiba see as 'equivalent' laptops :)

    T&C says

This promotion is only available to end-user customers who are defined as “business” customers (Companies with 100 or more employees operating within Australia) (i.e. excludes consumer/retail customers) .

so the deal is not for many of us here.

  • this is a stupid promotion as there is a bit of work involved for the customer to get the quotes and then submit to toshiba to convince them to sell you an EQUIVALENT one for the SAME friggin price (if possible). BTW 'any' means "Acer", "Asus", "Dell", "Hewlett Packard" or "Lenovo"
    How is this a bargain?

    • well i'd much rather a Toshiba than an Acer, but Acer are likely to be cheaper.

  • really not a bargain. maybe someone will find it usefull though so i wont vote negative

  • This seems to be aimed at bulk buyers such as corporations - in that case, I think its a decent deal. Not everyone, but then again, how often is any bargain?

  • Not just business customers - it's also for education buyers. I'd assume that means students or uni staff.

Anyway, Toshiba's meant to be pretty decent quality - just find some deal with Twinhead or Dell or Acer and get them to match it, in which case this would be a pretty great bargain!

Unfortunately, though, it requires some work on your part, and the bargain isnt already rolled out for you

  • nuked!

  • This isn't a bargain.

  • Read the fine print………
