      yup not $60 - nexus 7 is a lot more expensive.

    You'll be looking at $100+ just for the screen and digitizer. Unless it's a 2012 model.

    MCK repairs has franchises.
    Otherwise, most shopping centers have them: I know Box Hill centro (opposite Telstra), Glen Waverley, etc have individual ones.

  I have seen many people doing iPhone display replacement in Melbourne for $50. This is more of an advertisement than an offer.

    Without knowing the quality of the screen, it's hard to say whether they are a better deal. If this OP is using a decent quality screen and the $50 guys are using a crap one, then an extra $9 is well worth it. In saying that, I do agree with you about this being an ad not a bargain.

      correct - my screens are Original OEM NEW - not refurbished like the other guys are using. By all means - please note the value add I am offering. 50% Damage Insurance + USB Cable + Screen Protector.

  This is not blatant advertising. Please note what I am offering.

  • 1 x OEM Screen including installation (not the refurbished $50 ones the other guys are replacing). Ask them to show you the back of the LCD before they install it - you will most likely see wearing on the back.
  • 30 Days Damage Insurance - if you break it again I replace it at 50% of the price.
  • Free USB Cable and Screen Protector.
