Cheers- only valid for one day (ie expires 11:59 from day of receiving message).

I thought you meant it had to be bought by 11:59AM but it is PM i.e. 23:59, thanks.

  • +7

Any idea how much the roll actually costs in the first place?

    • +1

      $12

its not cheap but for two, great

      • +3

        $8.98

        • +4

          12 meal, 9 burgher only

  • These look great on the ad. Has anyone tried one and can give us your review?

    • +2

I had the chipotle roll and it was delicious.

      • +1

SO can you remember how much the roll was?

        • taste like subway but less veggies and the bread is not as soft as subway.

        • +3

          8.95 for the roll
          11.95 for the roll meal

just ate the Chipotle, very good. Far better tasting than a subway IMO.

@ $8.95 for two the price is right. would be expensive otherwise.

I assume you can use your voucher as many times as you like. The girl serving me just looked at my phone, perhaps i should take a screen shot, edit it to say 3 for 1

I've had the onion relish one a couple of times. Really good. Much better than, for example, a Maccas burger. They are a bit pricey though, so this deal is a winner.

  • thats lunch sorted for me this week :)

Looked nothing like the picture when I got it..
Why can it never look like the picture..!!!

    • +5

because this is how long it takes to make it look like that

Her high rising terminal is so annoying.

      • The guy at the picture studio i not even using gloves when handling raw food and when touching the burger. Not even safe to eat that picture perfect burger.

        • Do you know that picture-perfect burgers are not cooked? The food artist merely seared the edge of the beef patty, and the buns are cold so as to hold their shape. When the burgers are heated, shrinkage occur in the patties and the buns. This is why real burgers are smaller than photo burgers. You can see this clearly in the video.

  • Still haven't received my sms :/

    • @ martyn
      prolly ozbargained ;)

      • Tried again and it worked, thanks OP :)

  • Yeah doesnt work for me either :(

  • +2

Got my SMS like, 2 seconds after submitting.

  • Worked fine for me, arrived 2 seconds after hitting submit (I'm on Telstra if that makes any difference)

    thanks OP!

  • Got my SMS in 2 seconds - thanks OP
Will check how much it will cost…

  • Same, got my sms straight after.

would be great if there was a store near me :S

    • I work in sydney CBD and the two stores in walking distance closed down :(
Not sure why since they were always both very busy.

      • The two in George street? I just checked for nearby stores and was about to go

  • wow $12 each…

So it would be decent in size then?

    • its a foot (or just under)

the meat is apparently the best (ie. grass fed etc.)

      • $8.98 & the meat is super tender.

  • Excellent OP.

  • Price is $8.98 ea at Myer Centre Brisbane
So by using this deal - its $4.49 ea.
Taste pretty good - size wise more like a 9" sub

  • +2

Good for the price at 4.50 a sub. However at the normal price of $9 a sub, I expected it to taste like Philadelphia's cheese steak subs.

    I was disappointed.

  • +1

mediocre quality (and as you would expect, nothing like the pictures).
Not anywhere near the regular $9.
$5 should be the everyday price.

  • Just had the Garlic Aioli while my mate had the Chipotle. Got thumbs up for both, great at $4.50, not sure at $9, unless I was really craving for it.

  • +1

minimal meat, if what I got was normal, that is a very expensive roll.

If it was one of those dodgy, give them less because its free/cheap deal, then they just wasted the marketing aspect of the deal, as I wouldn't be tempted to buy it at retail.

  • Grass fed!!! Seriously I saw it on the poster !

    • This is no 6 star marble score wagyu bud. Likeness to chewy chuck steak

      • +1

But not grain fed :) very thought of it tastes better

  • Awesome. Thanks OP!

My thoughts: good with the 2 for $9, but otherwise not really worth it. Rather get 6-inch from subway with all the extra veggies and whatnot.

  • tried onion relish (good) and chipotle (amazing- I think it is the sause that makes it so different). better than subway. will get the garlic one tomorrow.

  • Damn that's retarded. I signed up at 10pm and it only gave me until 11:59pm on the same day instead of extending it for another day. Now I can't sign up for another.

    • +1

Show them the voucher, chances are the checkout person won't notice it's expired.

    • +1

I'm eating my 4th roll now, they just glanced at the phone (i could have had anything on the screen) and then took the price for the second off.

If you really want to be fancy you could take a screen shot, edit it to change the exp….. however, i believe that's something like obtain advantage by deception (fraud). Or you could just ask them if the voucher is still good, if they check explain the above

  • No ones posted a link to the voucher yet?

    • you fill in the form and you get an SMS. Then you show them the phone.

they said "excluding stadium and event stores" .. how do you know if the store is stadium or event?

    thanks

    • If the store is in a stadium or an event…

  • Got the Chipotle Steak…the girl serving me was saying "Oooh is that how you pronounce it" V_V

    • She sounds hot.

  • I tried the chipotle and onion relish flavours. Both were poor. The beef was thin and almost like jerky in hardness. The sauce of the chipotle was ok but the onion relish was unbearable and the bread is soft ( I was expected a baguette like the ones red rooster serve)

Deal is good but at $9 each is really not worth it

    • The bread reminded me of garlic bread

so went in today to claim my offer around 4pm (my deal expires today at 11.59pm) and got into a fight with the manager re what 11.59pm actually is.

He was trying to gaslight me into believing that 11.59pm had already past (that is he was confusing 11.59am with 11.59pm and trying to convince me of that incorrectness). Seriously, these people are managers?!! I had to school him, and he got exasperated and jerkishly said "just put it through" ( in a way which leads me to believe that he still thinks he is correct) LOL .. either that or he was just resorting to any tactics (even being dumb) to withhold the offer.

    • +1

he probably got the person making the sandwich to spit on it…

      • +1

I know! I was completely paranoid re that the whole time!

        • I wouldn't of risked it. Just would've got his name complained to head office and they probably send a voucher for another time.

I had one today, the store didn't see one voucher the whole time and they weren't told but she was cool with it.

        • "Don't spit in that cop's burger."
