ACER W3-810 for $268, good price for a 32GB tablet with office and micro HDMI!

  • +1

Can you please change the title to say it is the old model (late 2012) and not the latest model (late 2013)?

    • Did. 2013 one is out of stock.

  • Use Savemore for an additional 10% off. It works.

    • Looks like we cannot stack more than one..

    Note 8 for $300ish isn't too bad…

    • Not too bad, you can get it cheaper here though:

      http://www.mobileciti.com.au/samsung-galaxy-note-8-0-white-w…

      • $50 cash back is valid for selected stores only. It's $300 after cash back if you get from DSE which is finally $320 in mcity

        • +1

The Mobileciti store rep has indicated they are eligible as well. Please see https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/135782

        • I don't think any stores are excluded from the offer as the cashback is from Samsung, and you have to apply through their website.
However, if you look at Good Guys catalog beginning 11/3 they have the N5120 Note 8 Wifi +4g listed as Clearance for $338. I ordered one before midday 11/3, and offer was still online until 5pm. On the morning of 12/3 they now claim it should be the N5110 on clearance, still for $338 and still eligible for cashback. Up to you guys now…

  • Don't you guys sleep?

    • +8

Only children sleep at this time of the night.

      • +4

Sleeping is for noobs. I have microsleeps during a 24 hour period when there are luls in bargains. Anyway best deals are at night when IT department is afk. They can't quickly disable the product which is in the process of being OZbargained.

We browse more at DS site, thinking that we can save more, but actually we spend more

That applies to the whole of OzBargain.

Any OZBer owning Acer W3 seems very good price. Any comment plz?

Also interested in recent deal of MS Surface Pro. However its weight n battery life put me off

  • Does the ACER W3-810 has also the traditional windows desktop mode?

    • Yes, it does

  • Will this work with Gst refund if I get the note 8?

349.2 before cash back, it has to be over 300 and I am not sure if the cashback need original receipt?

    • as long as you have a GST receipt with an ABN and the total you are claiming is over $300 and the purchase date is within 60 days of travel.

ask the store to print out a second receipt for the cashback.
if you are buying online, you print off the receipt as many times as you like.

      • Thanks, was thinking the same, I can print the invoice when they send it to me.

  • so my question is, is this a good buy compare to Nexus 7? Is this new and or is there a cheaper option that beats the performance on this note 8?

I am so out of touch with all the phone tech since note 1.

      • +1

Thanks, I read that as well.

Just noticed the screen reso for note 8 is quite crappy… and the nexus processor is quicker too.

but from my calc, I can get it for $264!

        ah decisions decisions.

        • i play vids from network at home amd use office software requiring kb.

for this a win8 tablet is better.

for consuming other media and general web browsing.. i think the android is better.

  • Hi all,

Can someone confirmed that "ACER W3-810 32GB Windows 8 Tablet" $219 after cashback is with the bluetooh keyboard included? cant seems to find anything about the keyboard included at the DS site.
tempted, feel like pulling the trigger

    • +2
      • Yeah sure,

but when it comes in the mail w/o the keyboard, then what?

        • Then you sue WNK for providing you the link to DSE newsletter? Of course go after DSE yourself.

        • Yeah, DSE customer service are so accommodating……

Actually the problem here is that this ozbargain is suggesting w3-800 and keyboard and MS Office for $219. (In description).

When in fact you may not be entitled to the keyboard (let alone office) for an online purchase and it is thursdays catalogue which has all 3 items on special for $299 (after cashback, no 10% off) starting 13/3/2014.

(Heh, after all that, I bought one).

        • Read the t&c at the bottom it is valid until 12/3/2014.

        • When you say 'it' you are referring to the w3-800 and the keyboard offer (not the w3-800, keyboard and ms office offer) ?

  • Went to see the acer w3-810. The screen resolution just doesn't look right. Seems lower than most of the 8" android tablets and no where near retina or full hd display.

    • The screen resolution just doesn't look right. Seems lower than most of the 8" android tablets and no where near retina or full hd display.

      That's because it is lower… It's only 1280 x 800.

  • I can't see where this offer excludes the Nexus 7 but the code doesn't work for that tablet.
Edit - I see now that this offer was from yesterday!

  • I just received my W3-810, there was no keyboard, what should I do?

    • It was in thier web news letteron same day.

      Good to contact them.

      • +1

I have contact them today but they have no idea what I am talking about. I will try contact them using the online inquiry form and copy and paste the link, hopefully I will get an answer by then.

        • mine didnt come with one either.

i have used the online form and contacted them by phone..
it is being escalated to some other team- response within 24-48 hrs.

    • Did you get MS Home?

  • I can confirm that mine did not come with keyboard.

    • Mine didn't come with a keyboard either.

However, I filled in an online enquiry form yesterday and today I got an email that included this…..
