I'd had my 64gb for over a year. No issues on my end. It's incredibly fast, and in some benchmarks is the fastest flash drive money can buy you.

Magento is notorious for its extreme hardware requirement. Whoever chose that platform should have provisioned a lot more CPU and RAM on both the database and app servers.
This company are amateurs. I tried for an hour to buy this 32gb Extreme drive and still never quite made it.

This happened to me once before on their website and they still haven't addressed the problem they had then.

not sure if it's true or not but i read that sandisk usb drives have a 'function' where it turns into a read only device if it's about to fail.
i just had my 2 monthish old sandisk ultra 16gb go write-protected on me.
personally for my usage i would prefer it actually die on me, but i can understand where having access to your data could be more important.
has this happened to any others? thoughts?
