[Free] [Sydney] Microsoft Office 365 Summit

70

If you're up for some free training, food and networking, this is for you. Note, you need to be certain you want to go, no-shows impose a $600USD fee. ouch

From the email I received as part of MS's cloud campaign for partners:

Hilton Sydney, 488 George Street, Sydney | 29 April – 1 May 2014

The Office 365 Summit is a 3-day workshop providing deep-dive readiness on all productivity workloads from Microsoft product experts. Office 365 Summit Sydney will feature content across Office 365, Developer, Exchange, Lync, Project, SharePoint, Visio/Visio Services and Yammer tracks. We will host a track (Drumbeat) to discuss how, what and why to sell and deploy Office 365.

There is no charge for this training, however we will be imposing a no-show fee of $600 (USD) if you register but do not cancel your registration with 10 business days before the start of the summit. (You can cancel anytime, so long as it's 10 days before the event, you'll need to email them beforehand)

    • Their food is normally average at best, but I'll still be there :)

Maybe we can make it an ozbargain syd summit whilst we're at it!

  • Will they have one in other States?

    • They are saying Sydney only for the full ignite summit, they may hold smaller single product ignite sessions in other states but none are planned at the moment. Ignite is the only MS training worth attending if you know the products well.

  • Is this where everyone gets those backpacks?

    • That's TechEd, which is more high level and not really deep technical training. Good for drinking though….

That backpack is getting rather pricey…
