I suppose it's an acquired taste

      • +1

It's strange because I used to enjoy it as a kid but then it disappeared for 10-15 years and since then I now avoid all sweets in my diet, so I rarely ever drink coke etc. I tried Dr Pepper again recently thinking it'd be undrinkable but to my surprise I still enjoyed it, sure I noticed all the sugar but to regain some of my childhood I turned a blind eye :)

I wouldn't get a case due to the sugar but the odd can is still nice.

  • shipping to Perth always kills these deals :(

  • +3

Have to warn people off these USA Foods deals, they don't charge your credit card until they are ready to ship, so the price the charge could be much higher, happened to me, would ban them from OB as they don't charge the price on checkout

    • Interesting…Please expand on what they changed on you?

For those that are local, these will be on sale instore for $9-10 (hard to determine)

    • Shipping is only an estimate so it may be slightly off (sometimes it totals out to be even cheaper). We charge exactly the amount your package costs for us to send it, so we don't make any money off it, where other sites with flat rates, or higher estimates may.
This being said, we're in the process of changing our shipping methods.

As for charging when it is ready to be shipped, this prevents us from a lengthy process of editing the order and refunding for items that may be out of stock. We're doing a lot of work internally to smooth this process out so in the future it may not be a problem.

You can get DR Pepper at IGA for cheaper…

    • Really? Cheaper than 75c a can!?

      • +6

It's $1.39 per can when you include delivery.

    • I still remember when an IGA in Perth was selling the 24 packs for $10.. Ahh, good times, good times.

    • The lowest my IGA has sold them for is $1.80. Last one I got from red dot was around $2.20 from memory.

    • Are you talking Aussie Dr Pepper or US Dr Pepper cos they are TOTALLY different

      • +1

There is no 'Aussie' Dr Pepper. It's all imported now since they stopped making it here years ago. It's usually either the US or UK one, the UK one tastes a lot better.

        • the UK one tastes a lot better.

          Definitely !!!

I think currently they are $1.79 at our local Coles.

Anyone know what "sorry soda is a ship at your own risk item" means?

  • I'm using Dr. Pepper-flavoured juice in my e-cigarette. Delicious.
