    I've resisted for 11 minutes so far…

You've got another week to go. If you can resist for the next 7 days, you may have outlasted the French.

Is there any info about the max weight? (I can't see any on there)

I'm not interested in buying one but being 6'6 and 130kg I would be scared to stand on it.

    • +33

Why in the world would you at 6'6" need a step stool?? So you can easily clean out the gutters?

So the missus will stop asking "Babe, will grab this for me? I can't reach!" ;-)

        lol

My hubby is about that - it's not QUITE tall enough to change the light bulbs.

  • A good price for stool

    • Ah… I dunno about that… you can have my stool for free.

  • What deals are currently on at ikea for this week?

    I love their description btw:

"For maximum quality, re-tighten the screws when necessary."

Yeah might have to experience the thing falling apart on you first, before deeming it as 'necessary' to tighten the screws lol

I was going to buy this from IKEA last week. But I couldn't afjord it… Thanks TA!

    • +1

Ah, I saw what you did there…..

  • I did have this http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/50225592/ and it was good. Lets say I am "big boned" and I had no fear of going on it.

    • Remember this is solid wood. So all users should be satisfied with its performance.

        Especially the ladies :-p

    • I have that too, and its great, had to laquer ir. But looks good. Looks a lot stronger that this one.

  • what a great bargain

    • Yes, an amazing Bargain.
I imagine IKEA stores will be overwhelmed with shoppers looking for a cheap step stool, come the 28th.

  • Doesn't look like wood to me, but I'll get one anyway. Any idea of the RRP?

    • Read the description. It's birch ply.

      • Hmmmmm, if it's ply, then it shouldn't be called solid wood. 0_o

This is a small step above your usual deals.

Shame IKEA is still a little out of my reach.

    • +3

I'm sure you'd end up a step ahead of the rest if you reached out and nabbed this deal

  • +5

I'm not sure I want to pay this price without testing. Can I get a stool sample?

    • +2

Not sure if I'd want to step on that stool, though.

  • Stack a few of these together for a cheap ladder ;-)

  • FYI, Ikea Perth has been putting a lot of cheap discontinued stock in "as is" lately.
They had ex-display PAX wardrobes and accessories dirt cheap, and huge stacks of Blum kitchen drawers.
Might be worth checking if you are passing.

  • Sold out at Ikea in Springvale.
