  They give no idea of when the 'selected weekends' are, and the booking link they take you to has no reference to it - sounds like a scam to me.

    Gold Coast (Surfers'), Perth, Adelaide has it, Melbourne 4.5* only has it starting 21st Aug, Melb 5* only starting 26th Jul, Sydney is missing, Brisbane's sold out.

    I don't think this deal warrants a negative just because it's for selected days..and they probably just made a mistake for Sydney.

  It's not a scam. I've booked a 5* Secret Hotel in Melbourne on Sat 18/7 ($165) and Sun 19/7 ($1) plus $5.50 booking fee. I
  The secret hotel is Hilton on the Park. I've booked the room around 4pm.

  Looks like the sydney hotel is sold out. It was the Holiday Inn @ Potts Point.
  I can see some dates still available for Melbourne.
  From what I can gather, the 4.5* is Radisson, and the 5* is Hilton on the Park.

    I tried to book the MELB 5* in October and it's still avaliable but it still shows up as 2 night cost??How did u do it?

  I just booked on this for Adelaide (by selecting the "Adelaide $101" option on the middle of the lastminute.com.au landing page)

  There are two rows of hotels listed, the top one was available, and when I booked for the top one, it was "Holiday Inn Adelaide" (65 Hindley Street, Adelaide)

  My total cost for two nights was $115.50 (inc $5.50 b/f) the first was $1 and the second night $109 (even though I selected $101 option).

  I compared the price to the Holiday Inn website for the same dates and got $144.00 Average Nightly Rate (so ~$288)

  I'm not complaining with a saving of ~$172.50, this is bargain if you ask me! Thanks mrsjo!
