    Conditions are probably:
First Time Customers Only, Online Payment Only, One per person, One per order.

  • Not working in Melbourne either…First Time customer, newly registered…

  • Not working in sydney either. I am looking at mx right now and it dosent state any conditions.

This works in Sydney. Looks like it's for new customers only.
This is what I did to make it work (for people who have used DeliveryHero before).

    1) Open a Private Browsing window.
    2) Go to delivery hero and create an order, don't log in.
    3) At the checkout, enter the promo code. It won't work at first.
    4) Enter in any email address that you haven't used on DeliveryHero before (the email doesn't matter, they send the confirmation to the mobile number)
    5) Go back to the coupon text box. It will update and take off $10.

    Pizza tonight for everyone!

    edit: Proof it works http://oi60.tinypic.com/28i50kw.jpg

For the hardcore OzBargainer: Submit multiple orders with different email addresses to get the $10 discount on each order. For example, if you would order 3 pizzas for your family, order them one at a time in order to save $30. The restaurant will see they are all to the same address and deliver them at the same time.

    • I see you're not hardcore ;)

Thanks for the tip on multiple new customers. I never tried it because I thought it would recognise the same delivery address /mobile number has ordered before but I guess not.

You would think so, but DeliveryHero only uses the customer email address as the unique identifier. They could (sort of) fix this loophole by making the customer's mobile number the unique identifier, but let's hope to god that never happens.

P.S. If anyone from DeliveryHero is reading this, I can tell you all the ways people are scamming your website - in exchange for regular coupon codes for OzBargainers. Message me.

          You're not accepting conversations.

          You have been trapped!

          But seriously try now.

Submitting multiple orders in this way is abusing the system.

    • Did this and now MXHungry works in Melb. $7 garlic prawns for dinner :)

      • yum! oh and i hope you're not planning to kiss someone after dinner tonight…

  • Worked for me.

    Only valid for tonight?

  • I have a few questions, never used delivery hero before, how exactly does it work?

Our food is delivered from our local restaurants?
Do we pay for the delivery? How much?
Is pickup available instead to save on delivery fees?

    • Is pickup available instead……
lol, It's called "Delivery Hero" for a reason.

      You're a Hardcore OZBer i see!

DeliveryHero is a middleman between restaurants and customers. Kind of like how eBay is a middleman between sellers and buyers.

They advertise the items, allow the buyer to purchase the items, then it is up to the seller (the restaurant) to fulfil the order.

      To answer your questions
      1) Yes, you input your postcode, and participating restaurant's menus will appear.
      2) Yes, it's included in the menu price most of the time but otherwise it will be added on top.
      3) No. It's called DeliveryHero for a reason.

      • lol I see, thanks for the replies, just thought that with these $5-$10 vouchers popping up all the time, might be time to try it out.

So I'm assuming the restaurant pays DH nothing and that the delivery that we pay covers the delivery service they provide?

What's the average you guys normally pay extra over the instore prices when using DH? Trying to figure out if it's better for me to just drive down to the restaurant or if saving the $5-10 minus delivery is more worth it

        • Near me, there is no delivery fee and the prices are the same as the restaurant advertises in their own brochures.

        • Delivery Hero don't actually have anything to do with the food or how it's delivered. They merely facilitate the ordering process. The store receives the order and delivers it the same way as if you were to call the store and order directly.

You may ask why does Delivery Hero even exist then? Because it provides a single website to order from multiple restaurants, and helps restaurants accept alternative means of payment ie PayPal. It's a win-win.

        • Ahh ok, understood, thanks everyone, time to try it out I guess

  • Thanks OP - good to know these "new customers only" vouchers can also be used by regular customers with just a little email tweaking!

    • I gave you a + buddy! :)

    • thanks just used this one as the mxhungry one didnt seem to work anymore

  • minimum order set to $20 for all current coupons. half price is great, free food was better

    • What did you get for free?

      • $8 pizza $2 delivery, ymwv.

    • thanks - deal updated :)

  • Just worked for me in Victoria. Thanks OP

  • Sweet. Just worked in Adelaide on 4/5/14 using TimmyShooterB 's tip. Thanks and thanks OP!

  • My luck finally ran out. Just successfully applied it for the 7th time, and got a call from Delivery hero after the order was processed, stating that they won't let me use it as I've applied it multiple times. Oh well, good while it lasted!

    • I'm only on my third but what if you used a different phone number and email? I doubt they could limit you just by delivery address. It could be a different person in one household
