1m Certified Made for IphoneLightning Cable for iPhone/iPad $15.99 Including Free Delivery

03
CERTIFIED

Hi guys!

Well the confusion with the previous offer escalated quickly!!! Here's the offer again, but as one user pointed out, it's not actually an Apple genuine product, rather a certified one. So, here's the offer re-worded to avoid confusion:

We're pleased to announce that along with the generic cables, we're also stocking Certified "Made for iPhone" cables! These are part of our premium Hálm range and unlike the normal cables, are guaranteed to be compatible with current and future versions of iOS using the Lightning standard. The cables are extra strong featuring a sturdier build and stronger joining giving them far great durability. Genuine cables are available from some of the other guys as well, however, most of them are upwards of $20 WITHOUT including their delivery prices.

At Cyphix Technology, we try to give you guys the best value, so you can scoop up these cables for only $15.99 including FREE DELIVERY by using the code "CERTIFIED" The page to enter the discount code (CERTIFIED) pops up AFTER you enter your billing details (it's a quirk of the system, but it DOES work).

Thanks to everyone for supporting our small store. Comments/criticisms/compliments are welcome as well as products you might like to see: technology[at]cyphix.net

Thanks again to everyone for supporting our very (small) store!

Not sure if you'll be getting the response you're after on this site looking at precedent deals

    • Thanks for the heads up!

Didn't even see the first few comments til now!

      :)

    can you do $9.99 delivered?

    bulksales' estimated best price

    • Hi there,

Unfortunately, this is a test batch to gauge demand, so we simple don't have that volume to be able to offer it as cheaply as them at this stage.

      Sorry!

    • i love how they charge $5 for the cable and $8.25 for shipping lol

      • +1

if you buy two the postage is still $8.25, for both.

Is the brand called "Genuine" ?

  • +1

I love how your photo proves that these aren't genuine Apple cables. These may be genuine hálmcable cables but not Apple.

Making your price about $14 too expensive.

Just incase someone is skimming through I'll just leave that in caps.

    NOT GENUINE APPLE CABLES

    • How can you tell if a cable is genuine or not?

  • +2

Ps - here's a message from someone who received a faulty cable, which we sorted out ASAP

"Wow awesome, thanks a lot… Love the low prices and great service!"

Umm, no. No one would write this in a private message. You've already had a deal deleted for sockpuppeting already, do you honestly expect us to believe this crap?

    • It was an email :) I have taken parts out- but that had more to do with the logistics of the order. I'm sure no one would want their address etc published. Surprisingly, we have generally gotten positive emails in our handling of faulty cables.

  • Hi guys,

No, these are not genuine Apple cables, but our own Made for iPhone certified cables. Only apple sell their own branded stuff. I've been looking for the last 3+ months for a supplier of cables that uses the MFi certification (info available here: https://developer.apple.com/programs/mfi/ ) and have finally found a reliable, Apple certified manufacturer.

Being the web, I (unfortunately) can't prove it to you in any conclusive manner, but take it from previous customers that they've had no hassles with refunds (if any of your are here, a bit of support would be appreciated! :) )

All in all, when I say "genuine" it's the same as saying one of the brand name cables like Belkin is genuine- they're not Apple, but they use the certified chip.

Hope that clears up any confusion :)

Please remove all references to 'genuine' to avoid confusion

      • Fair enough suggestion. I'll delete this offer and post up a new one as "Certified". That should avoid confusion, yes?

Other suggestions for wording welcome too!

        • +1

Then one may have doubts that it is a bargain at $15.99 since they are not made by Apple.

        • +1

Yes, get rid of certified and include works like but not limited to; fake, non-genuine, aftermarket.

That way you won't be trying to lead people on in to thinking they are buying something under false pretences. You don't build a good reputation by misleading customers, they look at your products as overpriced and sold by a untrustworthy company.

    • +1

Remove genuine and replace with MFI as genuine makes people think they are made by Apple (which was probably the aim)

    • +1

No it doesn't clear up anything. Claiming that your product is a genuine product when it clearly isn't is fraud. It's also unethical.

On the topic of ethics..Let us know how ethical the Apple legal team are. I've just shot them an email.

      • I do apologise on the use of the word "genuine" -clearly caused a lot of confusion. As for the Apple legal team, I have an email right here from them with their list of certified manufacturers and one with the license details of the manufacturer to verify against. I'm sure for that part, they wont have any troubles :)

        • +1

That doesn't mean it's certified. A product is certified by itself and it doesn't become certified through another certification that doesn't apply to that product. If we rang Apple and asked if this cable is certified by them they'll say no.

Your claim of genuine and certified are what's known as "deceptive and misleading conduct" and….omg you're in Melbourne? Are you insane? I thought you were in China and was going to say the ACL still applies and a judgement can be made here and enforced locally but if you're in this country you need to hire someone with a clue asap.

'Being the web, I (unfortunately) can't prove it to you in any conclusive manner.'

Sure you can, show us the certificate from Apple that you are licensed to sell certified, genuine products.

  • the use of genuine and certified is simply to mislead, leave all those words out

    • Any suggestion for saying "authenticated Apple chip inside and not just the copied after market stuff" ? After all, that's all I'm trying to say :)
