Taronga always has a special deal on Zoo Friends memberships in May (last year was 40% off, the year before 25% off). We always wait for these and then buy because our memberships go until June (if you call them when the sale is on they happily give it to you at the end of your membership so you are not losing any time).
If you take up this offer for the extra 3 months then come next year you would be out of sync with their May special. Need to factor this in before taking on this deal.
But otherwise, a good deal for people looking to buy a membership now (and have it end at the end of June which might be OK with Taronga's May sales).

I have been waiting months now to get the membership. I ll wait another month too.
We missed last May's offer as ours hadn't expired. So we haven't been back since!
If this happens again, just call and ask what they can do for you. If I recall, ours expired mid-June but they said if we applied for the membership in May and paid then they would add the year on to our old membership so it finished mid-June again.
Any one able to tell me what the price works out to be? The site is currently down for maintenance..
