Olympus E-PM1 4/3 Camera on Clearance at Target for $149

160

I went to Target to look for the $300 Canon EOS 1100D clearance that was linked in the comments somewhere. It wasn't in stock for me.

I did find the last Olympus E-PM1 on clearance at $149 (Victoria Park, WA). It also happened to be a floor model, so they dropped the price another 20% for me.

I went home, opened it up, and found that was no battery. Went back to the store and talked to a manager who reduced the price further for me (which is why the price is crossed out). Not sure how widely available it is, but might be useful to someone to go in and take a look.

It was I who posted the Canon EOS 1100d link http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/39370/21880/image.jpg . You still came away with a bargain. Well done.

good price. I once got the e-pm1 twin lens for $250 from myer. Decent little camera. Not sure how available it is at other stores, may have been a local store price?

  • Now if someone can find me a cheap Pentax K-01…. That was a good deal for that E-PM1

    • There were some available … a year or so ago.
Now I reckon it is a discontinued model.
To get a good price, you need to keep track of what's happening on the market and normally the best time to get it just before they stop manufacturing that model or it is superseeded by a newer one (providing you're happy with its specs).

  • tempt to buy this but afraid about the quality of the image. I read a lot of reviews say that low light shoot and video shoot quality are not good
