Im not sure if it's just me or a 58" LED TV for $659.12 is kinda cheap?

Personally I've used their CRT tvs for more than 10 years with no issue, you can find heaps of reviews online on the brand.

  I have had a look at it today while it was 749.- and did not take. It just is no good.
  Ended up getting a Teac TV

      The displayed image simply did not do it for me and that is the most important part of a tv in my eyes.

        I currently have a 5-6 year old Samsung LCD, would you expect the Palsonic would likely be an improvement over that?

        Probably not, Sammys usually have good displays. Add a bit and go for the Teac like i did or a 50 inch LG or Sammy

        Just a heads up.. a lot of the cheaper TV's have terrible TV tuners in them. If you're going to be using an external PVR or will be watching a lot of movies it's always a good idea to get them to hook up a bluray to it for you.

        A few years ago I bought a cheap Vivo TV… The digital tuner in it made the screen look like the worst in the store but when hooked to a bluray player the picture was fantastic… I bought the TV and have been very happy with it…

  What size and price was the teac you got? Im wanting something between 55"-65" ideally. Currently my screen is only 40".

    It is 58 inch and has 3D display. Sold with one pair of active glasses. Really happy with it, had a Sony before. Was 900.- straight after asking what is the best he can do at JB
