Logitech Z906 Speaker System $299 Delivered ($284.05 with OW Price Match)

100

I've been on the hunt for these since missing the previous deals over summer. Not the absolute cheapest they've ever been but pretty close. OW happily price matched over the phone for $284.05 (it does take awhile but the guy I spoke to was happy to do it, no hassles). I would have bought them for $299 at Dicks if the price match didn't go through.

I've got these set up in the living room, they are great for the price. I'd use a master/slave power board with these as they draw a lot of power when not in use and it's easy to forget.

  • I am looking for some 2.1 speakers to connect to my TV but am looking for ones with Digital inputs. Does anybody know of a small set of speakers that have digital inputs. I have a pair of Boston Acoustics 2.1 that I bought from a gateway computers sale many years ago and have served me well but the Sub has died on me and I am finding it hard to find a replacement for them. These speakers are awesome but a little overkill for what I need them for. Budget is around the $100-$150 mark.

    • Creative Ziisound T6? They're on sale for $299 at MSY today.
      Reviews seem favourable.

    • Edifier have a few with Toslink (digital) inputs, or you could just buy a cheap DAC (digital to analogue converter) from ebay and get Z623 for around $100-150.

      • Love the Z623's, have some on my Desktop PC. I was thinking of buying a small used AMP or DAC but with my young kids the less buttons there is the better :).

Amar89, do the Creatives come in a smaller size as my budget is preferably less than $150.

  • Just as a heads up this is the normal price at Logitechshop. They often have discounts on this and I picked mine up for less than this a little while ago (maybe 3 months ago) when my old speakers blew. On the + side these kick ass and sound great. I thought these ones where no like the prior model with the power draw in standby.

    • Oh nice - they were $325 yesterday
