  • 15% expired yesterday

    10% off using welcome10 = $300 delivered.

  • Seems like the USB playback only supports MPEG2, which makes it fairly useless:

    Video Playback Formats:
    MPEG-2 MP@ML,MPEG-2 MP@HL.

    • One of the cons of Viano is the lack of online reviews, yet, the price is almost $80 cheaper compared to Soniq from JB hifi, too tempting to pass.

  • I bought this tv 2 weeks ago for $285 delivered. For the price it is great! Havent tried the USB input yet. But have hooked up my HTPC to it and looks great! TV quality is like Soniq and brands similar to those.

ANy other questions, ask and I'll try to answer as best possible :)

    • Alright, I'll bite. Does it support HDMI-CEC and ARC?

would be handy if you could try some AVIs and MP4s via USB

      1. Does the stand swivel to alter horizontal viewing angle?
      2. What's the response time?
      3. Would be great to try other video format like mkv and rmvb.
My parents has lots of Korean drama in rmvb format and the tv is to replace theirs 32" soniq which plays all sorts of video format.
        Thanks

        Yes the stand swivels.
Takes about 7-8 seconds to start up.
Channel changing is about 2-3 seconds.
        It's pretty much exactly
Like a Soniq tv. Same remote, same UI
Annoying how u can't see full Epg without changing its channel.
I'll try some video formats on usb later

  • Here are the specifications for this tv from there web site.

  • For an extra $65 (which includes postage to melb) you could get this TV which is 100Hz and uses mpeg 4, might be the better choice: http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/38004/product/blaupunk…
    (1 inch smaller of course)

    • Plus p&h

  • I have been monitoring price of this TV on Delasdirect website for the last 2 weeks. it has been hovering between $309 or $329 every couple days. I would suggest to hold off for couple days before buying it.

  • I bought it for $285 delivered 2-3 weeks ago

  • may not work on all accounts, worked on mine but not my brother's.
