I still believe in the old ones, Heroes Might & Magic 2-3-4 were the golden days.
V totally changed it, not sure on VI.

Homm has taken more hours of my life than I care to count.
If you ever feel like a game, message me.

      • I'm easily addicted so I'd better hold off it while I still have a semblance of free time.
        Cheers for the offer!
HOMM3 Wizard faction with Solymyr (starts with Chain Lighting) is way overpowered but otherwise its perfect. Hard to beat if they're left alone too long.

VI was super hard and frustrating.

You'd spend 20 hours getting to the final battle on a scenario and then find your force is overwhelmed and you have no choice but to restart and do it quicker. The longer you take to get there, the bigger their forces, and the harder it is for you. Also if you take casualties along the way you're pretty much screwed.

I think the design behind it is flawed. You're penalised for exploring the map and not rushing. And you have to micromanage your battles painstakingly to ensure no casualties. Basically it will be a slow process even though you're rushing through it.

It's just not how I played the previous games.

I had to resort to using a trainer, just so I could see the story progress. And the story was pretty bad. Also the game is buggy.

      Nice graphics though.
