Bohemia Interactive has announced the planned discontinuation of Arma 2 Free on 22nd April 2014.
As a thank you to everyone for their interest and support, Bohemia Interactive have announced that the complete Arma 2 franchise is available at a 75% discount from April 8th to May 4th 2014.

I just purchased the Complete Collection for $11.07AUD. This includes the texture packs and Operation Arrowhead so that I can play the DayZ Mod with my son.

Are you friendly???

    Arma 2 Complete Collection is only a few dollars more at AUD $10.64. For just those few more dollars wouldn't it better to get the whole lot?. You do get that Combined Operations in the pack plus all the DLC.

    With the DLC's you get hi res player skins for Dayz.

      Well then obviously the Complete Collection pack is the better choice.

        Agreed, my son insisted I get the DLC's they render the player heaps better.

  What does "planned discontinuation" mean? They are shutting down the servers?

    As far as I am aware this only affects Arma 2 free version.

  Easily the game I've sunk the most hours into over the last few years, Wasteland is endless fun.
