    Dude, I got it for $27 as well and that was a bargain at the time. How were you (or I) to know it would go to $10, which is insane? For $27 it is a great game. For $10 it is a no-brainer.
    
    But yeah, with PS+ and a PS3, Vita and soon to be PS4, I haven't bought a disc based game in well over 12 months.

For Vita, if you enjoy things like Saw and Battle Royale then Virtue's Last Reward is worth having a look at. But I'd strongly recommend getting a hold of 999 first (Nintendo DS Game which can be emulated on Android/PC).

Oh and PS3 wise, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for $10? Jesus. JRPG meets Spirited Away, phenomenal.

I'm a total noob with all this PS stuff, just got my Vita. It seems like a good idea to join the PSN Plus, but before doing that, I'd just like some advice as to what is the cheapest way to do that? Or is there any way to get it any cheaper than that $69.95 on their web site?

  you can top up your PSN wallet with paypal since they have the promotion this month (extra $10 for every $50).
  
  Other than that, you have to wait for occasional promotion for PS+ subscription. sometimes it's 25% off or extra 3 months for one year subscription.

    Can you buy PS+ with funds in your PSN wallet? (Aka can I top up my account with $60, get the $10 and then buy the PS+ subscription? (making it $60)).

      yes, you can only buy the PS+ sub on PSN with funds. if you don't have sufficient funds on your PSN wallet, it will top up itself with your credit card (if you register it).
      
      however the $10 bonus will take at least a week after you top up > $50 with paypal.

It is cheaper to buy All-Stars on the PS3 (which also gives you the Vita version) than just buying the Vita version (which does not come with the PS3 version).

does anyone know when free ps plus games are announced for the following month?
…for example… i just bought ps plus and i want a few ps vita games on this sale but i'm 99% sure one of them will end up free in May… and this sale ends at the end of april… so is there enough time for me to be able to check which games will be free before i purchase the remaining ones i want in the easter sale?

admittedly i'm new to this ps plus thing, but that's how things tend to work on xbox 360… "hey guys, check out this awesome discount….nek minute… here's that same game you paid for for free with games with gold."

  April's content was announced on the 28th of March for an April 2nd release. Usually the games for the following month are announced prior to that month starting.

It seems the discount is pretty good for a few titles but too bad I already own them on disc
