$129 bucks for a PS2 isn't bad coin… cheapest I've seen it in a bricks and mortar store (COTD had them for $99, but good luck getting one with its crappy server crashing etc).
You can also laybuy with no deposit right up till xmas supposedly…

Last time when PS2 was sold for $99 at CoTD the server did not crash at all — except everything is sold out within the first 5 minutes.
Yeah, stop picking on COTD. Whenever I buy something it arrives within 2 days and is as advertised. Just because their super specials sell out in a few minutes is not their fault. Tell everyone else not to buy them first.

PS2 is outdated technology, and will keep getting cheaper as the time goes by…
though out-dated when compared to the PS3 and xbox 360, its still an awesome console with a large library of games. good cheap family fun.

$139 in the current Kmart Catalogue toy sale - includes 2 dual shock controllers - Singstar and Buzz! games super cheap there too.
It's outdated but still good fun and a cheapo version of gaming for travelling, taking with you to friends, etc - which you wouldn't do with the $400 - $700 consoles.
I went to see the kmart deal because it sounded pretty good, but it looks like the 2nd dual shock controller is some generic thing… shame…
Still can't beat the $70 I paid for a friend's old one 2 years ago :)
