I am thinking of using the 701 as an 'ipod' attached to an external 400 gig hard drive with .wav songs on it. Does anyone know if what 'music manager' is like on these computers and could it handle playing the songs. Thanks.

chichi - you know it's a linux computer and that's why its cheaper than with XP. Maybe someone can help about the RAM and battery and what programs you can run on it. Officeworks have them in their shops - maybe you should have a look and pick their brains. Also 7" screen and keyboard is pretty small(est)
