Hah. That was the exact thought going through my head. Last time I looked those things were expensive and radio is normally the last thing on my mind…so I've never even listened to DAB…

An update for those interested- I got my one of these today (but am at work so can't plug it in right now).
The exact model that you get is CMT-S30iP, as per http://www.sony.com.au/product/cmt-s30ip
Nothing on the box, or in the manual mentions DAB. From my reading it looks like it is FM only.
Big W dropped the ball on this- this is a completely different model to the one that was advertised. I'm going to be following this up and see what they say.
EDIT: just finished online chat with Big W, they think it is a warehouse issue and that the wrong item has been sent out. I'm not so sure though- the unit I've got looks identical to the ones in the pics on the Big W site, I think it's more likely they got the info wrong on their site. Waiting to hear back from them…
Thanks. Keep us posted. BigW's website has often been totally poor on descriptions (a recent deal I posted with 2 Sony speakers didn't even mention the model numbers).
Got mine today too. I have a screen shot of Big W ad if anyone wants, where it clearly says "20 preset DAB" if still not on website. Calling Big W now. Love the enormous box with almost no padding it came in. Simpler not to put it in a box.

A company like Big W shouldn't have any problem with getting descriptions right- I mean if we can spend 5 seconds on google comparing specs/model numbers etc they shouldn't have any problems doing the same.
They said they would email me a Reply Paid label and send it back. They one they sent doesn't say anything about Reply Paid, I've been ringing them today all day and no-one is answering the phone. Becoming a BIG waste of time. And I have to take it to the Post Office.

Final update on this.
Spoke to Big W again today. I said I'd be happy to keep the item as is if they offered me a partial refund, and they are sending out a $30 wish card.
Person I spoke to said that they are still trying to work out what went wrong at the warehouse end, and that he felt that I had been sent an 'updated model' which may well have been the case, but it was still missing DAB that was clearly listed in the specs.
I'm happy with that- although DAB would have been great for the price I'll still be able to use the model they've sent out- mainly wanted it for USB input.
Big W could do a better job at making sure the web pages are accurate, but they handled it reasonably well from my point of view.
