31

A high quality cable. Not thin like most, has noise suppressors each end to accommodate for
the thickness of 28AWG. All cables have gold plated contacts.

Cables range in thickness from 22AWG ( the thickest, for long distance installations over 10m ) to 30AWG ( the thinnest)
A lot of the cheap 30AWG cables are very problematic with signal loss and drop-outs

We don’t ship with retail packaging, hence the discount.
We also offer a lifetime warranty for our cables.

Don’t waste huge amounts of money on expensive cables we guarantee our cables will
perform as specified. 100% money back guarantee

To give everyone an equal chance at this offer, 3 cables maximum per account.
This offer is limited to the first 100 buyers or until the offer expires 05/07/2009

  • If you could bothered eBaying, same cable is easily going for around $5 - $6.

  • Seriously, 1.3a???
I mean 1.3b is the norm.
    Plus, I didn't think 1.3a could do 200Hz.
    Correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Sorry, again not what I would call a bargain. These go for the same price on eBay all the time.

  • Actually, HDMI 1.3c is the norm now, but what about HDMI 1.4 which is round the corner?
    ;-)

Again, do the people here know what is the difference between HDMI 1.3a and HDMI 1.3b specifications?
And what it means for them in terms of their equipment.
The only difference between HDMI 1.3a and 1.3b is that 1.3b implemented stricter compliance standards for the manufacturers.

I would not comment on the deal- I would rather be neutral- but would just try to educate the masses.
This is link to HDMI org, which provides the HDMI standards.

    Form the link above:
"Q. What is the difference between HDMI 1.3 and HDMI 1.3a, or 1.3b?

For consumers, there is no difference between HDMI version 1.3 and 1.3a or 1.3b. These minor revisions to the specification typically relate to manufacturing or testing issues and do not impact features or functionality. In addition, HDMI Licensing, LLC is actively working with manufacturers to reduce confusion for consumers by de-emphasizing version numbers and focusing instead on product features and functionality.

For Adopters, the latest HDMI Specification is v1.3a and the latest HDMI Compliance Test Specification (CTS) is 1.3c."

    And quoting from wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI

HDMI 1.3 was released June 22, 2006 and increased the single-link bandwidth to 340 MHz (10.2 Gbit/s).[15][16][111] It optionally supports Deep Color, with 30-bit, 36-bit, and 48-bit xvYCC, sRGB, or YCbCr, compared to 24-bit sRGB or YCbCr in previous HDMI versions. It also optionally supports output of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio streams for external decoding by AV receivers.[112] It incorporates automatic audio syncing (audio video sync) capability. It defined cable Categories 1 and 2, with Category 1 cable being tested up to 74.25 MHz and Category 2 being tested up to 340 MHz. It also added the new Type C miniconnector for portable devices.[53][113] HDMI 1.3a was released on November 10, 2006 and had Cable and Sink modifications for Type C, source termination recommendations, and removed undershoot and maximum rise/fall time limits.[15] It also changed CEC capacitance limits, clarified sRGB video quantization range, and CEC commands for timer control were brought back in an altered form, with audio control commands added.[15] HDMI 1.3b was released on March 26, 2007 and added HDMI compliance testing revisions.[114][104][115] HDMI 1.3b has no effect on HDMI features, functions, or performance, since the testing is for products based on the HDMI 1.3a specification.[116] HDMI 1.3b1 was released on November 9, 2007 and added HDMI compliance testing revisions, which added testing requirements for the HDMI Type C miniconnector.[114][104][115] HDMI 1.3b1 has no effect on HDMI features, functions, or performance, since the testing is for products based on the HDMI 1.3a specification.[116] HDMI 1.3c was released on August 25, 2008 and added HDMI compliance testing revisions, which changed testing requirements for active HDMI cables.[117][65] HDMI 1.3c has no effect on HDMI features, functions, or performance, since the testing is for products based on the HDMI 1.3a specification.[116]
