  Only one of my two cards has this offer, plus I think Myer used to do buy $100 GC get extra $10 instore every year anyway.

      Not really. Amex deal is a real 10% off, whilst the buy $100 get $10 bonus is 9.09% off.

      So this deal is slightly better however I wonder if there will be any postage as it's online only.

      Yeah. Sorry I thought it was $50 off $250 like all other promos. $50 off $500 isn't really that attractive at all.

    Not showing on either of my 2 bank issued cards (not linked together).

    Interstingly, though, it appears as though the $5 Dan Murphy's deal is available again to both of my cards. I already used it the first time and received the $5 credits, but now it is showing as available for me to save to my cards again. Expires tomorrow 30/4/14. Might try using the offer again!

    You can only buy gift cards, and only online, so I would think you can only get Myer gift cards from their website.

        I think it's one of those ones where the system can process it and there's nothing preventing it from going through, but probably "as per company policy" you can't.

        I actually had a similar issue this week with a MYER only gift card and was told by the attendant in the liquerland to go to and buy the coles/myer/everything else gift card and he has had many customers do this.

        For us it depends who serves us at Coles. Some wont allow it, some do. About 50:50 I'd say. And if you go through self service and try to buy a gift card the operator needs to come and approve your purchase

  Does not apply to Bank issued cards. Can someone please update the title to AmEx isued cards only or somewhere in the description. Hopefully they will flip it to Bank Issued Amex cards in a week or so as they have done with a few deals in the past.

  Showing on my Plat Edge Card but not the Qantas Card… probably related to spend levels.
  At 10% still not a bad deal if you are looking at things like Apple or Miele or Chanel etc where discounts are not easily found.
  Plenty of time to combine with a "special" on tightly held prices.

  Myer is rubbish.

  Bought a card, got it sent via digital delivery.

  When I tried to use it, it wouldn't go through.
  Apparently Myer Head Office suspended it because they had it flagged as a fraudulent transaction.
  Mind you, this is after taking my money via a successful credit card transaction.

  Very poor showing by Myer.

    As a fan of Amex, not myer, I encourage you to report to amex. I'd be very surprised if they don't give you $50 goodwill while you wait your refund from myer. And they will want to know, have feedback.
