    That's a great price for print. This information is always appreciated. 11 x 14 is a squarer than what you get from cameras; you can plug 1: 1.2727 into the Photoshop marquee tool to get the exact crop beforehand. Just remember to leave some space around importantant feature as a t least one side gets trimmed off too much.

    Went to get some prints done at Fountain Gate. Girl at the desk had no idea about the sale and seemed unconvinced even after I showed her the web site, but she still scanned them through at $2 each for me. Great price!

      Just got rejected the sale by the guys at Doncaster Westfield Big W.
      They used the printed catalogue and said "The sale definitely starts on Monday"

        Hehe your right, on the actual catalogue it says starts mon, on the website says it starts sat 3rd. Just show then the website catalogues and it will show the dates there if you want it before Mon. But I will have to change the dates :)

          Well, that would explain why they had no idea in-store! The starting date must have been input wrong online. Luckily I had taken a screen shot of the date on the web site to show them. I think that's what cinched it for me.

    Be aware that most BigW recently changed all their printing machines …

    They had previously really nice Fuji wet labs … when they were calibrated they produced outstanding quality and the BIGW printing deals were great. With the new dry labs the quality is only mediocre … I was extremly disappointed. It also felt like the paper got extremely thin … :-( I don't need a pro lab quality but my Canon Pixma printer is now better than the machines at BIGW.

    I asked the guys and they they mentioned that they want to change over all printing machines. So it is no longer a deal for me …

      Ah, asked the same at my local after the printer reduced in size, thanks for the feedback, will go check my small prints quality and compare to previous prints

    Very poor output from the new machine at my local BigW. Way too slow and dark prints with dirty whites. I rejected half and the ones I took home were disappointing.
    I will give up on this as its a lottery. The previous big prints for a dollar on the wet machine were great.
