          Nope. I've been looking around, and 90% of cameras seem to be 640x480, and the few that are higher resolution are either ridiculously more expensive or lacking features.

      Yup, I tried a knockoff and the microphone was overly sensitive causing background/ambient audio in a quiet room to be 80% of maximum volume.
      Also the drive motor for the PTZ sounded like it ran 24/7 (quite possibly the source of the 80% noise).
      Switching to a genuine FOSCAM (still only 640x480), the sensor is vastly superior, as is the IR illumination, giving a much clearer picture over a wider area.
      Background audio sits under 15%

        I thought it might have been the fan that runs inside of the camera that cuased the noise… MIC was useless on mine too…
