    Is it just me? In the last 20 mins I've been spammed by Gearbest with four (4) Refund notification messages already.

    • I've had 3 so far, all identical
      Edit: make that 4

    • I received 10 REFUND NOTIFICATIONS! and had only placed two orders (one by accident, as I thought it hadn't gone through) ,but surely ten is a bit excessive.

  • Update for those who bought…Lodge a Paypal dispute and within a few hours, you'll get your refund. This is what just happened to me. I lodged a dispute this morning (9-ish), and by around 11am, the refund took place. Make sure your quote your order number in the paypal comments box.

  • I recieved a partial refund as stated on the paypal email, I bought one when the sale first appeared and a second just before it finished (refunded)I wonder if that means I am getting one of the five?

    @9:52 get a PayPal receipt, next @23:02 PayPal send a refund stating "gearbest.com has just sent you a refund"

    then followed by 5 emails exactly the same over the next 36 minutes stating @ 23:52

  • So, I got my refund also, but something strange has happened. Apart from the 5 or so emails from them, I ended up getting an email from Paypal saying there was a security breach with my Paypal account. Never happened before, but never had 5 emails from gearbest before for a 1.20 refund!

    Has anyone else paid for this with there paypal account and have you encountered any issues, or was I just unlucky with someone hacking my paypal account?

    • paypal has probably triggered some sort of money laundering false safe on your account

      blame gearbest for that

  • I replied to their 100 refund email notifications with about 100 of my own emails asking them to stop sending me refund notifications.
    Got a reply:

    "Thanks for your message.
    Really sorry for that our system have a bug now, we are check it and fix this problem now,I apologize the inconvenience caused,

    i have unsubbed on 3 emails it says "submit successfully" but im still getting like 4 emails per day from them??
