      From a purely financial perspective, you're probably right.

      I'm just a fan of not having to dispose of batteries. It's worth the extra little bit of moolah for me. Not too much extra, of course. I am on OZBargain, after all.

        Yeah I dislike using them as well, especially the rate I was going through for my controllers.

        To have eneloops for all my remotes would cost me $40 or so when they're on special, to basically just sit in a device for a couple of years, never having the benefit of being recharged and reused. You can buy a lot of disposables for that price :-/
