    • This one looks better value

      If it was available.

      No stock around Sydney.

    • Good luck with that because the store stock checker says it's sold out in every capital city around the country.

      • you forgot the capital of all capitals :), i.e. braddon (canberra) has it.

      • -1

It's in stock at least at Chadstone, Keysborough, Frankston.

PS. Toner was expensive when it first came out as there were no generics - not sure if this has changed.

        • I'm guessing the neg means generics are around now. If so, why not just say so, maybe even give a link???

    • Pretty sure a guy at office works told me these machines are identical. Built in the same factory. He recommended the Fuji as it was half the price and it does everything I need it to.

      • They don't look identical to me. The Fuji has a flat top, the brother does not.

If you want to talk about an inkjet printer. It's not a laser printer.

  • Has a decent review here:

Might get one to print out biz receipts & invoices…

    Cheers

    • Is probably what small business use these for.

  • Wifi version hl-2135w is $74 at bigw in current catalogue.

Fuji Xerox dpp255dw for $79 is faster, smaller, and has duplexing.

      • Found these 2 months ago at the Capalaba OW (QLD) marked down to $49. Not sure whether they'll still have them!

        • Damn I paid the full $79! Still love it though.
          At $49 it's most certainly a bargain.

  • Note the printer is so cheap that you don't even get a printer cable to plug it into your computer.

    • I'm sure people could afford a $3 USB A to B cable. So while you're at TGG buying this printer also pick up one of these cables. Or if you're ordering online and getting it delivered just add it to the cart with the printer. $3 is not exactly going to break the bank i should think.

    • Most printers have been supplied without data cables for years. Chances are this will be replacing dead printer so there's probably a spare cable already

      • Yes even if don't have a USB cable there's that $3 cable from TGG that i pointed out. Can't go wrong.
