  • Can't see any details on the link about it. I assume it's only for new customers?

I assume this is direct marketing as I received a similar offer (I am an existing customer but I never use the account), but I get a $250 voucher

    • Me too, plus it's 5% cashback, not 2%

    • I got the $250 email as well but the T&C states that you must be a new ING DIRECT Orange Everyday customer.

      • Yeah, I wonder why they'd target existing customers for this one

  • I got this in my email.

  • so this means we just need to deposit $2k a month until you get the card? Or does it have to be salary?

I don't think they can tell the difference

  • I got the email today saying $100 Iconic gift card and i have an existing account. That one is probably directed marketing only sent to selected customers.

    • The email i got says $100 Iconic gift card with a $2000/month salary deposit. So existing customers only get a $100 card and 2% cash back from $2000/month but new customers get a whole $250 card and 5% cash back with a $1000/month deposit. How is that fair i wonder?.

Half the salary deposit + 2.5 times as much gift card value for new customers as opposed to existing customers.

      • It's always been the case that new customers get 5% cash back for 6 months.

      • i just closed my accounts - i hardly use it, when there is a tempting promotion for a new customer i will re-join

    • *If you’d like a Gift Card for THE ICONIC valued at $250 to spend on a new look, here’s how to get it:

Enter your details and your unique code or order number for THE ICONIC in the form.*

I signed up through a targeted email to get the $250. Anyone know what this unique code or order number is? I know my other half would enjoy $250 voucher for nothing.

      • A little confused about "unique code or order number" - I saw the link that sivarythm_99 posted, and saw the mention of the code. But I received the targeted email as well, and it didn't say anything about a code or registering anything anywhere else - all it said was:

        1. Sign up for an Orange Everyday. Log in to ingdirect.com.au and click My Applications > Everyday

        2. Look out for your new debit card in the post (it should take five days or less after your ID is verified)

        3. Switch your salary over. You'll need your Orange Everyday account number that's in your Welcome Pack and our ING DIRECT BSB: 923-100. Here's all the information you need

        4. Deposit your salary (at least $1,000/month) into your new Orange Everyday by 31 August 2014

Any idea what this registration code/order number stuff is about?

  • Seems like this deal is for specific customers. Probably should be removed from OzBargain given it's not available to everyone.

  • +1

I didn't get any of the emails :(

  • It seems like you can do a one off $2000 deposit by 31/08/2014 to be eligible?

    Is this correct?

  • I get the impression that any new customer can apply, by going to the direct link.
If so thats not a targeted offer, just means they didn't send an email to everyone.
I got the $100 gift card offer email, being an existing customer.

  • Has anyone else not received their voucher?
I received the offer by email and by post and I have had $500 per week of pay deposited into my ING account since June but haven't received a voucher yet
